Sounds like a little bit of a nuisance, really. But hey, if you're tight on space...

How did you end up getting the tank? That sounds like a story in itself!

Yes, it was a bit of a nuisance, but I did not have room for both tank and bed, so it worked well for me at the time. Now I would make a space for it somewhere and make sure a shower or running water were nearby. I shopped around for a while to find mine, they no longer made that type and the company that made it had gone out of business. Found a used one, somehow and had to drive all the way out into the Mojave desert from Santa Monica where I was living at the time. Guy selling it was pretty cool and walked me through all the things I needed to know about its operation. Not sure how we both figured out that we both liked Cannabis, but somehow we did and he shared some nice desert grown Sativa that was just the thing I needed for the long drive back to my home. The hardest part of the setup was sourcing then moving the 800 pounds of Epsom Salts that it takes to make the water buoyant. 8 x 100 pounds bags ain't easy to move by yourself. It was great while I had it and I had to sell it before I left that place. Ended up selling it to a neuroscientist and artist friend, so it went to another good owner who would love and appreciate it as much as I did.
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.

Isolation tanks are great. I've used one twice and both times I felt incredibly relaxed, meditative, and at peace. It's definitely not something I'd do regularly though (because it's a time investment and, you know, kinda expensive). Thankfully I didn't have the same issues others in this thread have had, like hearing people through the walls or bumping into the sides of the tank.

I've wanted to try floating for years but the closest tank to my area was like 6 hours away! But a place just opened up ten minutes away and my girlfriend got me a gift certificate! Can't wait to try it out. Some say it can take 2 or 3 floats to appreciate the experience.

A friend and I recently tried this for the first time. We were under the influence of mescaline cactus, LSD, and cannabis. It was a very nice time.

I have an appointment set for tomorrow for a 90 minute, rather than the 60 minute I had previously done. I plan on dosing some 4 aco dmt prior to going in. Should be interesting.

i have been twice before and like it so much that i just bought one, i bought the zen float tank with military discount it was only 1500 or so which is an awesome price (compared to the next lowest 12,000 tanks) but you got to put it in a good quite room....they are still waiting for a few parts though so haven't got it yet....salt alone will run you 500 bucks easy. As for the experience t is great for back and muscle pains, meditations, and you do get visuals and mini trips after like 20-30 minutes definitely do 90 minutes or 2 hours.
