^..it is true that such acacia species are very slow in the wild..they only grow when it rains..
this is why the damage done by wild harvesting is all the more sad and disturbing..
BUT, in cultivation, in good conditions with regular water, many acacias can grow quite fast..
in cultivation, A. floribunda or A. acuminata can be grown to up to 1-2 meters in 2 years from seed..
they will tolerate down to at least minus-6 degrees C..
at that height phyllodes and twigs can be carefully removed, allowing the tree to grow on..
but they will grow their fastest once established in the ground..while they can be grown in large tubs, this will eventually limit the size they can reach due to the restriction of tap root depth..
for tips on growing acacias/conditions etc, see
https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=38229for very fast, sustainable, tub or indoor growing of DMT plants, i would suggest Phalaris aquatica AQ1, or Phalaris 'Big Medicine'..some strains are around 1% content, can be grown in a few months, easily root divided, and of course regrow easily after being cut..
