I'm probably wrong but I think that the washing process has some thing to do with the crystal dimensions. How hot is the solvent? How long do you leave it at room temp cooling? What's the temp of the baking tray that you pour the spiced solvent into? These are the only things that vary in my whole process so maybe these factors can have an effect on the final outcome?

Thanks for posting this my friend swim a complete noob but can still appreciate these images and yes imho they are worth a thousand words indeed, wow just wow!
Makes swim wanna read like a mad man and educate himself hoping that one day be able to do the same.
