I recently got done reading Acid Test by Tom Shroder.
MAPS had an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for legalizing MDMA assisted therapy (which had a goal of $50k and raised an incredible $130k) and one of the perks was this book.
I'm not much of a book reader but I read it anyways.

I really enjoyed the book. I've always been into the history of psychedelics, but this definitely had information I had not found before. Each chapter, for the most part, is based on a certain person. One of them being Rick Doblin (founder of MAPS) who I have a new found respect for after reading his history of not giving up on psychedelic therapy.
Another main character is Nick, a former Iraq veteran who developed PTSD. The book goes into detail on the traumatic events that lead to his PTSD and his quest for curing it.

The book is available at the MAPS store along with lots of other books and movies.
I'm interested in if anyone here has seen or read some of the other things such as "ayahuasca vine of the soul"
I have seen the movie neurons to nirvana and really enjoyed it, so I'm interested in what some other good movies or books might be.
