Mebeverine is a phenylethylamine derivative which has several modes of action:
1.direct smooth muscle relaxing effect including that of the vascular system;
2.an anti-muscarinic effect;
3.a local anesthetic effect which in part relates to modified sympathetic nerve transmission through noradrenaline-reuptake blockade.
The British National Formulary and its data sheet do not mention hazards with MAO inhibitors and its almost completely excreted at 24 hours. Because of its anti-muscarinic effect I would want to avoid mebeverine for 3 or more days before consuming harmalas orally.
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.
