E-Cigarettes Rigged By Drug Users To Smoke Hallucinogen DMT

Drug users have discovered a method of adapting electronic cigarettes to vaporize a potent class A hallucinogen known as dimethyltryptamine or DMT.

The straightforward “hack” is being discussed openly on multiple web forums, with DMT enthusiasts describing how simple it is to consume the drug using an electronic cigarette and a little dexterity.

Certain e-cigarettes reportedly generate precisely the correct temperature needed to vaporize the drug.

Described as “the spirit molecule” by some users, DMT is estimated to be one of the strongest hallucinogens in the world. It is considerably more powerful than comparable drugs such as LSD. If smoked through a pipe, however, its effects are more transient.

Depending on the dose consumed and means of ingestion, DMT’s effects range from short-lived mild hallucinations to much more immersive and hypnotic experiences.

Many who consume DMT report having deeply spiritual experiences, often traveling to other ‘realms.’

I love how journalists act like they have been half way through college for this stuff when they right about it. Our society is so full of ignorance and moronic nonsense I don't even pay attention to it anymore.

Except, most Nexus talk about jerry-rigging e-cigs has concluded that it's not really a practical way to take in DMT.

It seems more likely that some journalist had a deadline and thought: "ooh, drugs are always a good story," did 30 seconds of research and cobbled this together.

Shoot. This is the second article of it's kind that I've seen today. When I saw the first, I thought to myself that in not so many years I'll be looking back on the time before spore and Root bark crack downs when it was possible to access sacred medicine with fair ease as long as you were smart.

The nexus absolutely is one of those sites. I did a lot of searching myself. Edited coming here to discuss exactly that I. A thread if been fiowong. It doesn't matter that the threads have found fairly little success ; the article still sounds flashy to readers, so they say the minimum and move on.

My biggest hope is that at least with DMT most people would absolutely hate it and it doesn't really have an addictive component.

Wanted to get some expert opinion on how viable this "Gramma Phoenix’s Spaceship Recipe" tek is. Here is the excerpt :

"The DMT is first dissolved in warm ethanol, using the minimum alcohol to get all of the DMT into solution at around 150 Fahrenheit. It is best to use a double boiler on an electric burner to avoid risk of fire and overheating. Everclear or equivalent food-grade ethanol works well. The alcohol will be boiled off/evaporated in a following step.

To the ethanol and DMT solution, a mixture of 40% glycerin and 60% propylene is added. Apparently glycerin by itself is too thick to pull into most syringes and it doesn’t quite flow right in e-cig tanks.

Gently heat and stir the resulting mixture until no alcohol smell remains. Once it has cooled to below 100F, a graduated syringe is used to insert the thick liquid into the refillable e-cig reservoir, just as one would do with nicotine liquid.

For the lighter, social dose, 0.25 gram of DMT are used per 4 ml glycerin/glycol. For the hyperdrive potency, the ratio is 1g per 2.5ml.

Phoenix also notes that the spice crystallizes out of the solution over time. If this happens just gently warm the whole cartridge in a double boiler with water in it and shake it up. The carts are designed to be boiled clean and are watertight. This process should keep it liquefied for at least 12 hours. The more concentrated solutions crystalize more quickly and may need to be warmed in order to liquefy it again.

Having tested the results myself, I can personally speak to the efficacy of this particular method directly. This is obviously still an evolving practice, and your mileage may vary. It seems to me like it’s worth a bit of experimentation to try to dial this thing in, though. Please let us know what you find.

I find there to be a bright side, a positive part of the duality here...

I just did a search of "DMT" on Google News and only got a couple articles even about our beloved molecule. It could be so much worse! Imagine having some religious groups come out and claim frequently that it's "Satan's Drug" or whatever... I don't mean to give any of them ideas, but these couple little articles that were thrown together in a short amount of time are almost to be expected in our fearful, sensitive society.

I rejoice in the fact that DMT is not really that well known, and generally only those who want/need it can come find it. But articles like these and that funny blurred picture (I got you Null) are very entertaining.

@DMTheory; i think it's the little silly articles like these that lead to the propaganda,
and the crazy church people. Hopefully enough people seeing clearly, and have open minds.
