Ha, just kidding...I won't cry and thank lots of people Big grin

I've been tripping over this site for a couple of years now while hunting out various entheogenic facts, figures and theories. One of things that finally drew me to join (I am a lurking hermit at heart) was the respectful nature of discussions and everyone's focus on the matter at hand. Such a pleasant relief - It never fails to amaze me that no matter what the topic (whether you're looking for tips on DIY or knitting) people will be managing to have an argument by post seven

My interest is currently the science of Ayahuasca. I worked with her for a couple of years, along with various other plant teachers. I have also had callings from Salvia Divinorum and I look forward to being able to share some of those experiences at a later date.

So without further ado, I shan't take up any more of your time with my n00b ramblings.
Thank you and goodnight.

Welcome to the Nexus!

What do you mean with the "science" ? Any specific area you're interested in?

Be well!

That was the same thing that drew me in here as well. Knowledgeable, respectful discourse is a rare find on the internet anymore.

Thanks for your welcome.

In respect of the science I am starting from the fundamentals really. My path has been entirely experiential up until recently and although I have basic understanding of human physiology, I am researching what we currently know about the way we interact with these plants. From the science of how they affect our minds / bodies, to why we are so synergistic will some plants and not with others. I feel the need to read!

Or at least I want to know what we don't know. That sometimes seems the better way to start these things...

Right now I need to get myself a medical dictionary and plunge myself back into that fabulous thread of publications you have collected. Thumbs up
