Hello,

I recently drank my first Caapi tea. I used about a desert spoon of shredded Ourhinos (sorry I don't have scales small enough to measure how many grams!) with 2 mugs of filtered water, boiled for about 30 mins down to 1 full mug. I also set my intention at the beginning and before drinking the tea by asking for healing.

I'm interested on the effects of Caapi on elevating mood and lifting depression (although I would perhaps like to try Ayahuasca for personal growth / spiritual development in the future) so I thought I would try a fairly weak brew to see test the effect and I didn't expect much of a noticable immediate effect all.

However the effect was stronger than I anticipated. I felt generally quite spaced out, a bit less coordinated, although my vision seemed a little sharper, and the nicest thing was that the dull achy pain in my heart was gone. My heart felt warm. After about an hour I felt like I needed to lie down and slept for a while. Then I got up, feeling pretty normal and had something to eat (pasta and a cup of tea) and went back to bed for the evening.

This morning I felt groggy, although that's pretty normal for me and I seem to have been sick in my sleep (a bit worrying). Although I could't see anything, I could really smell it on my bed sheets. I have two questions that I would be grateful for help with.

- Is it normal to have this type of experience with Caapi tea as I made? Should I perhaps try making it in a different way.
- Should I be worried that I seem to have been sick? Did I do something wrong? (I'm not taking any other drugs that might interact with Caapi)

Thanks for your help!
