Hello nexians!
So here is my humble introduction. Not really sure to begin so i guess i will just begin to ramble on.
I guess i will start at what i consider the beginning of what i would consider my awakening to real life. Its also the start of my psychedelic adventures, i would dare to say they go hand in hand for a lot of people.
So i was raised in a very morally binding religion, in the great state of Utah.(sameplace this religion has its deathgrip) Could never really take any of it even remotely serious. At some point in high school i stumbled upon the "rave scene". It was at this point when i say i found my awakening to real life. Idk it just kind reinforced my thinking in a lot of the stuff im constantly fed is as ridiculous as it sounds. I loved and embraced it!
Next i guess would come my various psychedelic experiences...So i did the whole rave scene thing for years and years, like my life kind of revolved around it. The scene started to change, or maybe i just started to get older, and it slowly fizzled out of my life. During the fizzle i started to stumble upon thing that were previously unavailable or just haven't even heard about. Such as lsd and dmt. Before that it was just various forms of stamped pills, molly, ketamine, and of course marijuana and other various what nots, you know "club drugs".
So here i guess would be the next step in what i would consider my awakening to real life. Started to work with lsd, for a while. I think one time in particular really stands out to me as a real turning point in life or the way i looked and thought about it at least.
So my thing i would do was take lsd and go hiking in the mountains, sometimes with friends sometimes solo. Utah is stunning for hiking. This one special trip that i relive frequently in my mind, i was solo.
So i took what was at the time the largest dose of lsd that i had experienced. Drove up to a place that i had already maped out, a hike to lake mary, a lake that you could only get to by hiking. So i made my way up the mountain to lake mary, this lake is part of the water supply to salt lake city so your not supposed to swim in it, but at one point i was up on a cliff, looking over at the fish and could tell it was super deep. Got a big rock, tossed it off, watched it sink, could really see how deep it was as the rock sank. So i took off my backpack and jumped off the around 50-60 foot cliff into the ice cold water. Super awesome, i should also say at this point i was pretty gone. The cut trail i was hiking ended at lake mary but i wasnt ready to end it there. I looked around and found a nice looking peak. Kind of wandered my way to the top of it, about 2 hours later found my self on the top of it. This i where i had a really awakening experience, i was sitting on the peak eating some snacks i had packed, sitting at the peak of this mountian. Looking out i couldnt see anything man made. I just had this real connection to nature, the beauty of it, my role in it, mans role in it, the beauty and connectedness of everything sticks to me till this day.
My experince with the sprit molecule is a bit more limited. I do have some pretty profound experinces though. One of which, brought me to this site about five years ago. I had acquired some spice during an lsd experience The day i got the spice i had been hanging out with some friends and had done one of our hikes. Everyone had gone home and i was left at home after an lsd experince with some dmt. So i did it all at once, and idk its really hard for me to try to put to words what happened, but i do remember how i felt, and i felt like i just didnt have anymore questions while in that space, i just kinda knew how everything worked.. idk. I do remember clearly thinking that i just took the pill in the matrix. I should also mention that i was alone. At the time i was rooming with my bro. I really remember thinking about him while i was in that space and coming back to and thinking he was in the room with me and after a second of kind of talking to him realizing that he wast there. I really felt i needed to talk to someone about what the heck just happened. So that brought me to this site about 5 years ago.
Fwd a bit more than five years, to the recent and present, have since moved to the golden state, had a child, and have been looking to get more reconnected again. Semi-recently i have sought out the cactus as i found out it is very available as i live in the desert and is used as decor a lot. Have been experimenting with various extracts with the help of this wonderful informative site. Have decideded im ready to delve back into the spirit molecule. Looking forward to reciving info from like minded people.
