Ayahuasca of yellow color?. not work, Why?
Hello, recently I made anahuasca (mimosa tenuiflora and Peganum harmala), followed the procedure, I must say that I've done before, only this time combined infusion of Peganum harmala and infusion mimosa hostilis in the end, on previous occasions I was done the combination of both at first, the result is that I had a yellow liquid that has very little effect, even not cause the effect of drunkenness and dizziness of peganum harmala.
Does anyone have an idea why the yellow color? Is it in any chemical reaction? Is there a relationship between color and have weak effects?

A spice elf siezed your aya and may have traded you urine in exchange. Spice elf urine is highly prized among shamans, and may be bartered with or exchanged for a more traditional ayahuasca.
Honestly though, maybe increase the harmala, or consume prior to the mimosa brew? You failed to mention how much of harmala and mimosa you used, a few more details would be helpful to us in answering your question.

fine, thanks
I used 240 grams of mimosa and 90 gr of peganum harmala the idea was to made anahuasca for 12 doses, each dose of 20 grams of mimosa H. and 7.5 grams of peganum harmala, an little more than the usual dose for lost in the reduction process
and i did not grind the seeds in dry to leave like dust, instead grind with a wooden stick while the seed were wet in a glass with a little water
as one more data, i made the extractions of peganum with vinegar

Thats WAY too big a dose, Im glad it didnt work,
Please read the FAQ.. A properly prepared brew of quality plant material for one dose only takes 3-5g mimosa and 3.5g peganum harmalas. There is no loss during the reduction process since the alkaloids will stay dissolved in the reduced water. Any loss should be minimal.
Next time grind the seeds in a blender, same with mimosa if its not powdered already. Also you need to do 3x boils, not just one, if that was the case. and please adjust the dosage.

Thanks again I explain what i did:
infusion of mimosa: * Add 3 liters of water, 100 mL of vinegar (10% acetic acid) and 240 grams of mimosa hostilis * I put the pan into the fire * As the water began to boil put on medium heat by 30 minutes * I let cool * I kept in a container filtering liquid with a strainer of coffee * Repeated the extraction process 6 times, but now with 2.5 liters of water and 100 mL of vinegar, when finished, poured the liquid into the same container as in the previous * I reduced the amount of liquid on medium heat until one liter * Filter to remove the sediment with a piece of cotton
infusion of Peganum * 90 grams of peganum harmala seeds put to wet with 250 mL of water for 2 hours in a plastic container * I used a wooden stick to grind the seeds in the plastic container and grind as best I could * I put heat a cup of water to a boil * I added the peganum harmala, hot water and 50ml of vinegar in a thermo for coffee, I left there 30 minutes * Filter and I left the resulting liquid in a container * I repeated the extraction process 6 times and kept all the liquid in a container * I reduced the liquid to the lowest possible temperature on an electric stove, put a fan near to help reduce the pressure on the liquid so that facilitate evaporation without much increase in temperature * I reduced until half liter * Filter to remove the sediment with a piece of cotton
I gathered both infusions and let low heat until reduced to one liter
by the way, I guess the Mexican mimosa that I have is of lower quality than you have, because mine is not as strong that 4 or 5 grams per dose are sufficient. i hope it can help, thanks, greetings, i expect your response
