I've only made really basic herb blends using just peppermint and damiana, nothing special but I want to move onto making changa.

I guess my question is that if I were to make a blend using a higher amount of caapi per dmt, like instead of 1g/1g I would use 1.5g caapi and 1g dmt - would i be able to sort of "ride out" the trip/effects a little bit longer since I would be taking in more mao-i vs dmt? I'm planning on doing a 15x extraction onto 1g of caapi. would it be more of a build-up into dmt land?

Would doing that make the trip more aya-esque? That's really what I'm trying to do. thanks Smile

At 15x the material tends to get a little gooey and while still smoalkable it can be bit thick and heavy. I find 10x seems to be about the right balance of potency and smoalkability in most cases. 15x won't really extend the experience any more than a 10x will, in either case yes adding the harmalas will smooth it out and extend it. If you are going for a more ayahausca-like experience I'd recommend taking harmalas orally then smoalking the changa.
