I think hash IS the same in that it needs to be lab or personally tested to determine quality. I have seen what looks and smells like good hash at far too many concerts and events in my youth that turned out to be a little hash with a lot of filler material. The illegal market protects those scumbags who would add anything and pass it off to others just to make a quick profit. I have also seen hash that looked and smelled not potent at all pack an amazing punch of potency. Lab testing is your friend. It can not only tell you the potency but can also tell you the % of CBD to THC.
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.
