Tried 5 HBWR and it was very unsatisfactory to say the least.
Chewed for 15 min then swallowed.

Thought that 5 wouldn't be too bad in terms of nausea, but I was wrong; threw up violently after an hour.

Effects were minimal but evident; a (++) on the Shulgin scale. However, they were mostly overshadowed by the nausea.

In addition, got a bloody nose, no idea why. Anyone else had similar experience(s)?

Could this have to do with vasconstricting alkaloids being present?

I would say that is likely. Perhaps it was just a coincidence

I'm not a doctor but it could be possible that the vomiting triggered a nosebleed if it was violent enough and if there we some other contributing factors (dry air, elevated blood pressure).

I've never heard or seen of this happening before.. were the seeds scrapped efficiently? Which strain? It could just be one of those things your body doesn't exactly tolerate which may have contributed to the nosebleed.

They were nervosa var nervosa Hawaiian strain; don't plan on trying it again.

Effects were very sedating and hardly psychedelic.

I have been having really wonderful low level experiences with one HBWR madagascar strain taken sublingual. Threshhold psychedelic effects..almost no visuals but very serene and peaceful feelings, energizing and euphoric..def anti depressant..and then later a very pleasant relaxed feelings of tranquility.

Eating the seeds without extraction and having no nausea is nearly unheard of.
Getting a nose bleed is too though. Not sure what may have caused that. Sometimes when people violently puke it comes out of their nose too. Maybe that caused it to happen.


This seems like a cool idea though. Just get a little mood enhancer throughout the day and I imagine there would be no nausea from just one sublingually.

Most seeds that are available naturally display a fuzz surrounding the seed that contains toxic elements. So it is not an issue if they were baby smooth. Perhaps a CWE would do some good. I really can't say for sure, though.
