Namaste to all.

My name is Red.

I'm a panthiest, and I've been interested in shamanism, Thelema, and other magickal paths fo a long time, which very quickly led me to seek methods of an altered state of mind. I would definately prefer infusions (water extractions), tinctures (Alcohol extractions) and evaporations of the two.

Of particular interest to me is DMT (Ayahuasca) and mescaline (have seeds on route, I'll get to try it in... 5 years?) I'm also interested in growing Datura, for a tincture to add to smoking blends and as an incense (as well as things like henbane, mandrake, and nightshade, but they're mostly just to be collected and burned as incense outdoors)

I feel its best to grow my own whenever possible, so that's what I'm going to do.

I've lurked here for a while, but finally decided to introduce myself. I look forward to meeting you all, and being generally noobish about growing these ethnobotanicals.
I may not post much, since i love research. I could have a 40 minute conversation about the best soil for a trich, but I only bought my first one a few days ago. Its non-active, and i knew it was before i bought it. Figured practice would be good, and I might want to graft a seedling on it.

Well, thanks for reading, and for the warm welcome I'll surely get from this awesome community.

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

Welcome to the Nexus!

You can also try getting some cactus cutting so you can try it before your seeds have grown into mature cacti.

Please be careful with datura and other nightshade plants, but im sure you already know that.

Are you aware of sharetheseeds website? It's a very good place to get free seeds and good growing advice. Just dont use the same nickname as you use here, if you decide to register there.

Be well!
