Having been graced with the arrival of a new muse into my life, the fire has been rekindled under some creative projects that have been embering within me for some while.

I've been studying tarot for some time, and while I've been thinking about this for a couple years, i don't think i had enough understanding of the arcanum until now to attempt this.

The idea is for it to be used prior to apsychedelic trip,to help gel intent, during to help focus as well as conversely to open new avenues of exploration and in the integration period to help assimilate the information brought back.

I'd like to post here the process of creation, including sketches etc, to of course show offWink, but also to receive input from those here who are esoterically inclined, and those who appreciate art. The symbolism and attributions are going to mostly be drawn from the Smith Rider Waite deck.

Here's a crap phone pic of the first sketch ov the first card I'm working on, #13,Strength & Perseverance. Just so something is here. Be gentle, again, FIRST SKETCH. The figure will have hair that resembles flame, the sun rises in the disc behind her and throws rays out, and the beast lazily reclines behind her, subdued. I'm actually pretty happy with how this one is working out, but alot of that satisfaction comes from the return of visual creativity, which has been dormant in me for awhile.

Pretty amazing project. I can see how tarot can be a beneficial tool to help with ones life and i should probably get into the meaning of the cards. I've even thought about trying to understand them with the help of psychedelics.

I highly highly recommend pulling a tarot card and focusing intently on it, meditating on it for a while, then with it still layed out in front of you, take a big rip from your salvia bong.

Fantastic idea! Something I've thought about doing as well, just always lacked the motivation.

I've always been fascinated by the Tarot and have studied and used it for almost 20 years.
Something that might help with your inspiration is to try to invoke the archetypal energy that each card symbolizes into your life while your creating that card. It might help fuel the fire.

I feel there is definitely a connection between Tarot and Psychedelics, and they can be used together with success.

Great first sketch! Its a great feeling when you pull a creative passion out of dormancy.
Keep at it.
