Several years ago (probably back in 2002-2003) I became aware of an artist called Patrick Farley. He published his work - mostly web comics - on
www.e-sheep.com, among them a quite psychedelic piece called "Delta Thrives - Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun".
Unfortunately, this piece of art had long ago disappeared from the web. Some days ago I heard about a wonderful service called "The Internet Wayback Machine" which attempts to archive the past history of the entire Internet (nearly 1.5 billion pages). I was skeptical first, but I made a search and voila: I found it!
With some Perl hacking, I managed to collect nearly all the pieces of the page (it was not too easy as different parts of the site were stored at different time-points in the archive). The only drawback is that three of the background images are missing (these were referenced from <td background="..."> attributes, probably that's why the wayback machine couldn't collect them).
