Forgive me for asking, I did use the search but didn't find what I was looking for. Maybe someone could give their thought or knowledge for my penny. But my question is, what is this sound of low frequency bass vibrations swim hears when swim is in DMT experience?

Each time except the very first two attempts he hears this and know when the voyage is over because it fades away. Mainly he's curious Cruz he thinks this can be helpful with brain wave audio entertainment technology. Any comments is much appreciated! Thank you.

Your guess is as good as any at this point! Smile

If you want to find more info/threads on it, try searching for "carrier wave" or "DMT tone", "DMT sounds", "hyperspace sounds", or something like that, through google (like described below in my sig)

Sometimes the sound evolves into things I can't even begin to explain. Focusing on the sound can bring about some extremely interesting developments in the experience I feel. Some of those experiences have been where I experienced something like a living orgasmic hyperdimensional non-local plasma that is you/everything, kind of like the stuff Terence talked about.

On sub-breakthrough doses sometimes the sound it will seamlessly evolve from being merely a thought into something experienced full on. Visions, sensations, and other sounds can work that way to, and that's even something harmalas can do on their own. Not saying it's "all in your head" though, since who knows. It may be both simultaneously.

Many of us have had the kind of alien nintendo/shpongley sounds as well, and endless kinds of indescribable music has been experienced there too by humans.

maybe its what we hear when we're sleeping..cos when we sleep we stop listening as we normally do,at some point somehow!perhaps somehow is this carrier wave we recognise..a substitute sound to quiten our listening...when its silent we listen deeply...how many of us have heard a buzz when in a very quiet place..particularly us city folk...perhaps our auditory schema is not used to discerning at such fine detail and we end up resolving to a
frequency.
i can relate only this;
intense high pitch buzzing and pressure was experienced, not constant though..subjectively reported as though something flew in and buzzed the subject...as though it was exterior in origin..stayed a moment then buzzed off....bizzareley subject resolves this to be a humming bird..,pparently not an uncommon
resolution with various myths associated therein.x)
anywho it continues to visit occasionally, subject has a vague notion that it may be due to increased stimulation of regions associated with auditory perception,,
but it could be too much motorhead..of course one would expect that to be more of a constant sound and not so intense and variable..
subject is happy to think it may be associated to the hummingbird phenomenon...Smile

I only seem to hear a high pitched peep, followed by faint bell like sounds in the distance so far. Beyond that I dont seem to hear any music or so. Any music that is on gets pushed back until I dont notice it anymore.

DreamWhisp,

There is a whole brand of Yogic science dedicated to such otherworldly, inner sounds, called Nada Yoga. Much of what you clearly describe is the lower tone of the Carrier Wave. Indians call this Omkar or the universal sound of the AUM vibration. Kriya Yoga, Surat Shabd Yoga and Sufism focus upon these spiritual sonics, as do Tibetan Buddhism and Taoism to some extent.

To me, it can sound like the whirring of a chorus of eerily warbling chainsaws, the oscillating hum of great fleets of droning fans in seamless union, the primal roaring of ocean waves or even the enigmatic booming of thunder... all fed through a synthesizer, but of course. On it's bottom end, it is rumbling, on the top end, it us ringing in a much higher resonant pitch, akin to millions of tiny brass bells or cosmic crickets chirping The vascillating pitch lifts the mind, through waves of pulsations, expanding and ascending into an alternate dimensional shift (and awakened state of conscious-awareness).

Eastern meditation practitioners refer to these various ethereal tones as, "The Sound Current". We often hear these sonic harmonics under the mesmerising effects of psychedelics, especially DMT and psilocybin mushrooms. Meditation surely enhances the experience, ad infinitum.

Cool thread! Thumbs up

Thanks rising spirit Smile

I'd forgot to mention that I'd read how in eastern sitar music there is that one instrument that plays the slow background of ambient notes which I believe is said to represent this universal sound. You hear it in that song within you without you by the beatles for example.

And I guess the connection with singing bowls is obvious... But maybe antrocles can weigh in on that Very happy

Oddly I heard a high pitched tonal ringing while I was just thinking about this, but it ended abruptly after a few seconds.

Ah the carrier wave, nearly shat myself during my first experience when I first said ...hmm, I dont think it's working maybe I did something wro...then I heard it. Super low frequency winding up slowly to a very high pitch. Totally shook my core, thats how I knew it was going to be outstanding. My eyes were as wide as saucers and my jaw was dropped, then I closed my eyes, smiled and relaxed Smile

I tend to think the the vibration sounds you hear on psychedelics are feedback loops of sound and physical sensations moving through the nervous system. DMT just happens to cause really fast feedback loops. Look at the Wah Wahs you get on nitrous, its very similar but just waaaaay slower than on DMT and other tyrptamines.

The more you focus on the sound/feeling the more it feed backs on it self and like any self recursive system it just gets faster and tighter and AGHHHHHH and release mmmmmmm

When I used to hear people talk about music and DMT, I would think that they were over-glorifying the sounds I was hearing. Among electronic, alien sounds, white noise (in only one instance) and machinery, the main sounds that I would hear that were remotely musical were these 8bit pitches that would cycle through a sequence of generally high frequency pitches. These are the Nintendo sounds of hyperspace. It's music like Schoenberg is music...but then one day while floating in space among numerous glowing nebulae, I heard a genuine lullaby in perfect four-part harmony. It sounded like a combination of a harp and a music box, and it was just adorable sounding. I originally described it as "angelic harmonics". While I've never heard full-blown music like that since that occasion, there were a few times where I would hear a loop of trilling thirds from the same invisible instrument or something of the like.

It is amazing to read this ; I do think also as described by Terence McKenna and others, this is a real dimension or set of dimensions of existence and it can become more present even to the point of fully entering external reality:

I found this article at some point about a sound/music phenomenon that i feel may be connected with DMT! after all, as DMT does seem to have connections to the potentialities of life able to be experienced in "this" dimension...
many people gathered together each having DMT in their bodies as well as other dynamic molecules, as well as DNA,
a unique type of DMT activation may have been possible and still be possible.

DNA is of course highly conscious so it is possible that some of the dimensions of its own mind, which, in each person there is an average of enough DNA stretched end to end to travel to the Sun and back to the planet about forty times...
can be conducted through the endogenous DMT and the organ systems which receive input from DMT.

Here's a description of the rising and falling of the heavenly music: "It began on the right side of the audience, and rolled from there over the entire company of baptized saints in a volume of sounds resembling in its rising and falling, its rolling and sinking, its swelling and receding character, the rolling waves of the ocean when being acted upon by the wonderful force which produces the tides" (Otto on Woodworth-Etter). Others have described it as "marvelous," "extemporaneous," "spontaneous," "unimaginable," "heavenly," "inexplicable," "like a great oratorio of angelic voices," "a flowing forth of celestial harmony," "the harmony of heaven," "the very melody of heaven," "supernatural," or "humanly impossible."

According to the witnesses, in what way was this music supernatural, or humanly impossible? For one thing, it could not be reproduced, or imitated. Frank Bartleman wrote that "the 'new song' was altogether different, not of human composition. It [could] . . . not be successfully counterfeited. The crow cannot imitate the dove." It sounded more like some unknown musical instrument than a human voice. A. W. Otto wrote that "It did not at all appear like human voices, but seemed much more like the tones of some wonderful instrument of music, such as human ears never before heard."

There was perfect harmony despite the fact that the music was totally unrehearsed. "Such blending of tones, such perfect harmony of sounds, such musical strains, my ears never before heard, and I never expect to hear to again in this world under any other circumstances, not even from the most perfect band of music which human ingenuity can provide, and yet all these sounds were produced by a company of people which had that day gathered from all over the continent of North America, very few of whom had ever seen each other" (A. W. Otto). "They sang so perfectly, so harmoniously, so artistically as no trained choir could sing.

Have any proof of that statement? There are enough molecules in 18ml of water (1 mole, 6x10^26 molecules) to travel to the sun and back over 10^5 times if stretched end-to-end… So what. That's merely an illustration of how much stuff can be packed in 1 dimension as compared to 3 dimensions.

Yes! It's a strange figure by all accounts. It is sort of food for thought in that we sometimes might think of ourselves as a lifeforh that is the size of our bodies but there is all of this extra length coiled up inside!

http://skeptics.stackexc...th-of-uncoiled-human-dna

Quote:

** There's enough DNA in the human body to stretch from the sun to Pluto and back.

True. It can be done 17 times

** If uncoiled, the DNA in all the cells in your body would stretch 10 billion miles—from here to Pluto and back.

Incorrect. Surely the DNA would stretch 10 billion miles (which is approximately the distance to Pluto and back). However it would do so 12 times.

** If you could unwrap the DNA you have in all the cells in your body, you would be able to reach the moon and back 6,000 times.

Incorrect. You would be able to do so 260,000 times, not 6,000.

Quote:

On the average, a single human chromosome consists of DNA Molecule that is almost 5 centimeters.

The human genome comprises the information contained in one set of human chromosomes which themselves contain about 3 billion base pairs (bp) of DNA in 46 chromosomes (22 autosome pairs + 2 sex chromosomes). The total length of DNA present in one adult human is calculated by the multiplication of

(length of 1 bp)(number of bp per cell)(number of cells in the body)

(0.34 × 10-9 m)(6 × 109)(1013)

2.0 × 1013 meters

That is the equivalent of nearly 70 trips from the earth to the sun and back.

2.0 × 1013 meters = 133.691627 astronomical units
133.691627 / 2 = 66.8458135 round trips to the sun
