Hello, I was thinking would it be possible to vaporize DMT directly from solution after basification and let crystals deposit on cool surfaces? If solution would be heated to freebase DMT boiling point that is ranging from 80 to 332.1C spice should vaporize and could be collected after cooling if I’m correct. Or course water would boil also above 100C, but solution can be dried.
In that case no nonpolar solvent would be necessary for extraction, crystals would be cleaner and DMT deposits could be scraped from surface.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Not sure I get what you mean...

You cant boil DMT out of water, DMT's boiling point is over 100c.

Also, boiling basified water can be very dangerous if you use a strong base.

DMT does not crystallize well out of a complex mixture, so you cant add a base to, say, a mimosa or acacia brew and expect all/most of your DMT to crystallize neatly. It only works when you have a relatively clean DMT salt that you redissolve in water and then add the base.

If you dont want to use a non polar, you can try this: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=30501 (or mix this with FASA at the end to get real pure crystals)

or, you could ( theoretically) make a brew with your plant material, evap it till it's basically dry, then mix whatever is left with a base, spread this around a glass plate and let it dry, and then use water to remove the base and other non-alkaloidal impurities and your DMT should be left behind, like the freebase conversion featured in amor fati's tek: https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...oach_to_Spice_Extraction

So what about heating dried solvent? May other plant material impurities with lower boiling point be vaporized along with DMT?
Thanks, amor fati's tek looks interesting.
