Hello guys.

I have been experimenting with caapi tea as a mood enhancer/mild antidepressant.

I had two teas so far. Each time 10g caapi leaf cooked for one hour.
I could feel light mood elevation, but when I go to sleep I would have these very detailed dreams about some pretty dark themes.

Yesterday I had a tea maybe 8 hours before sleeping. I could notice the dream eperience was certainly different then my usual dream state. The stories I dream are very long and one night can countain quite a few different stories. They also seem to be very detailed and I can remember the images I saw much better. How ever they seem to lack some kind of "trippines" my usual dreams have, kind of clearer and are much more like watching a movie.

So the point is this night among other things more personal, I was dreaming about a war ground which seemed related to the war hot spots in the east these days. The last thing I remembered where some cruel images of people being blown to death with some kind of dynamite in a vault. More detailed, it was about a guy who was sentenced to death five times, but each time managed to somehow put a kid in the execution place instead of him... Pretty harsh stuff... The other dream stories were not as graphic, but all kind of negative themed, with a bunch of very unlikeable characters.

These dreams are different then usual nightmares. I dont wake up soaked with sweat. They dont realy frighten me, seem very distant to my emotions. But still the images linger in my head and leave me kind of drained, like after watching a real deep documentary about human cruelty.

Anybody have similar experiences with caapi?? MAybe this is some kind of mental purge?

Drink moar as long as your mental health allows and report back to the forum. Caapi dreaming is quite common.

I eat meat maybe 2 times a week, usually no pork. The day before mentioned night I think I ate some vegetables with rice, and some eggs and maybe cheese, all spread throughout the day.

Its not like I get nightmares very often, but I know how they feel like and noticed a difference. I think the caapi was probably just putting a few things from deep down from my subconsciousnes in my face. Part of my dream clearly referred to a very current situation in my life, and the war theme I think was because before sleep I read an article about IS prisoners..

Yesterday, the day after the strange dream, I also had a tea around lunchtime. I still felt a bit shaken, because of the dream the first half of the day. The rest of the day was pretty nice, felt slightly more social then usual.

Well about the dreams that night.. I cant really remember details, dont know how long I slept, but was it more like a black box, concerning dreams. I remember waking up and something I related with the caapi dream feeling was going on. But then the feeling vanished pretty fast.

My plan is, to continue drinking the tea maybe once or twice a week, at the moment I dont feel like I want to consume any substance at a daily base.

Edit: I just read the dream report you posted ufo!( Thanks for the link Smile )

Wow this is so interesting! the report from the first link, when he said, he woke up and there was a scarf around his neck, said he must have like sleep walked in the night.

Yesterday night I actually spent with my fiancè, and at one point I must have fallen asleep, but then suddenly I awoke, this was when the caapi feeling was going on, and I dont want to go in detail here, but i awoke in the middle of an intense cuddling session, and I really didnt had any idea what was going on when I woke up. I am not 100% sure if this phenomenon really can be linked to the caapi tea, but after reading the other topic it seems possible.

You may have discovered a new dream supliment!
Maybe you are seeing cognative dreams of the very bad things going on in Iraq and seria [now today]! as Isis is killing ..beheading...everyone that doesn't convert to their religion..
If your a Christian adult ..male or female or child or baby..they will kill you!
Their insanity has gone far beyond even the hitler era holacost!
Humans when in distress can send mesages of desperation and sometimes sleeping dreaming humans can receive these mesages in dreams ..like a radio station..
Yes I may try this cappi tea as a dream supliment soon..
Keep us updated!....peace
