Obtained these crystals using this Original tek. After years of reading and researching the properties of DMT and the other Tryptamines, a Tek was born. Simple, yet it can be difficult to obtain some parts. However, once parts are obtained, all that is needed after is the material being extracted from [[ This was done with Bark. Tek yet to be tried on Leaf though it is expected to work if even a few additions must be made to accommodate the leafs particular properties, such as chlorophyll ]]
Patience is a Virtue with Spice. The more Love put into it, the better the Outcome. This Tek is good for when one has many things to do other than Isolating Spice and so this can be done casually up until the last couple steps which do require a little concentrated time and effort. Watching the solvent turn into 'milk' right before the eyes is Great Fun Very happy - So here it is:
Locojuiceman's Casual Tek:
1) 1 pound ACRB bark [[ Shredded, not powdered ]] is PACKED snuggly, [[ almost tightly but not so tight that fluid can't get in ]] into large glass jars with glass lids [ filling 1 and a half jars ].
2) Citric acid, about two table-spoons [ By eye ] poured in jars.
3) Spring water poured into jars until bark is covered 1/4 of an inch over top.
Jars closed and shaken vigorously every few hours for about 18-24 hours.
After first 18-24 hours,it is strained from the jars, keeping bark inside the jars still for additional soakings and then process requires only 12 hours for each additional soaking/straining. [[ NO BOILING!! ]]
4) Between Jars being emptied of liquid, the Strained liquid is placed in refrigerator [ To avoid mold which CAN grow FAST ! ]
5) After obtaining approximately 1 1/2 gallons of 'Extract', it is then reduced by low heat over 12 - 18 hours [[ Boiling is not preferred but it is heated until it steam real well ]] until it is slightly less than 1/4th of it's original volume
6) It is then placed in empty 16 fluid ounce vinegar bottles. Two of them with equal amounts in each. Allowed to cool completely.
7) Extract is first treated with sodium carbonate until Ph reaches an 8 - 10 level. Once this level is achieved, it is 'topped off' with Lye to reduce emulsions. Very little is required for this. The Sodium Carbonate will make it foam like crazy, so, go slow or else risk overflow. Then, when ph is right, kill the 'foam' or 'emulsions' right before your eyes with just enough Lye to 'Settle it once and for all'!
Cool Treated Jars are then allowed to sit, with repeated ROLLING, not shaking, of the bottles every couple hours for up to 24 hours.
9) Jars then placed in hot water bath and allowed to heat up substantially. Enough to require using wash cloth or even oven mitt's, to hold them.
10) Heptane then added to each bottle. Enough to cover top by 2 inches. No need to heat Heptane before adding it to the bottles. It heats up FAST when it is added to the already hot bottles.
11) GENTLY turn over bottles, top over bottom, a FEW times, then SLOWLY loosen cap to release pressure. Don't do this fast or it WILL spray out some. Do it nice and slow and you will hear the pressure releasing as a 'hissss'. After a couple times doing this, the pressure will 'Level Out' and 'Hiss no more'
12) NOW the bottle can be shaken BUT, with Heptane there is NO NEED to shake the dickens out of the bottle. Just a nice and gentle shaking will do it. Shake for a minute, put back in hot water for a minute and repeat as long as you'd like. Every now and then you can test the pressure by loosening cap but it should be fine. The longer you do this, the more Spice is pulled into the Heptane, reducing the need for more than 3 [[ 4 at the MOST ]] pulls.
13) Pull solvent off extract, [[ Into small glass jars, of course ]] combine first 2-3 pulls, put on lids and let sit. NO NEED to freeze precipitate. Spice isn't soluble in room temperature Heptane so you will have Crystals forming quickly as it cools.
14) Once Heptane is clear, [[ With Crystals stuck to the sides and bottom ]] it is poured off, [[ A filter of some sort can be used to catch any loose spice. Stainless Steel fine mesh being the best ]] and the Heptane is saved for future pulls OR, it is then placed in the freezer in it's own CLEAN separate jar to collect the left over, finer particles of 'SPICE" and NMT which will precipitate out in freezing temps [[ Thats what this tek has resulted in ]]
15) The Jar with the Spice stuck to it, is then placed in freezer upside down on top of Paper Towel to drain off all the heptane from crystals. It has been discovered, for an unknown reason, that keeping the spice in the freezer [[ after heptane is removed completely ]] with lid on tightly, for an extended time, results in much better crystal 'Tenacity'. It is unknown why this is the case.
16) Jar then scraped, Spice placed in other 'Holding Devices' and kept in cool, dark storage for Use and Enjoyment later on.
One can usually go back and repeat the pulls with a 25/75 Heptane/NAPHTHA mix and that results in pulling out oily crystals different from the Heptane pulls. After Smoking them, they have been found to be QUITE psychoactive, CLOSE to the Original Spice and worth EVERY EFFORT to retrieve them,so, DON'T Throw away your Bark Extract YET ! Also, when pulling with the 25/75 mix, Freeze Precipitation IS required AND the longer it is kept in the freezer, the better the results are.
The Bark can even be further extracted after all of this, by placing in ziplock plastic bags with minimal acidified water covering it, then frozen/thawed three times , then shredding further in blender, then repeating tek. HOWEVER, the bark is usually quite spent and only a little spice will be obtained [[ Bark Potency depending ]]
The KEY to all of this is : BE PATIENT and The Spice will give You It's Loving Embrace and Kiss !
Hope this tek is easy to understand - Peace,Love and many Blessings to You and to All of Yours as well <3

No Opinions? No accolades? I'm TRYING to make 'Friends' here but so far, it has proven to be very difficult.
I can understand why though.
'TRUST' is the issue
I'm a 'newbie' and nobody trusts me
Hopefully someday SOON people will start talking to me
It sucks living alone and having no one to talk to so, thankfully...THERE is The Computer and Internet !!
Yayyyyyyyy !!
Or ..so I thought
Embarrased

Thanks for taking the time to write that up looks like it produces good results! We get many of these types of threads and there are also many other threads to read and respond to, sometimes threads get lost and drop off the 'active threads' dont take it personally and I wouldnt say youre not trusted as thye results are there to see but maybe STOP Wink emphasizing every other word it comes across as a bit, shouty(?)..get on chat if you want someone like minded to talk to about anything.

Hi locojuiceman , and welcome to the nexus ,
Just a few ?'s if I may ,
The decant in the refrigerator is more about the defat & scoping the fats and oils of the top , and mould shouldn't grow that quick !

Step 3 / I think the shaking can create a lot of emulsions and that only creates headaches , just a simple mix is recommended !

Step 6/ is that a typo 16ltr vinegar bottle ?

Step 7/ again is dangerous spitting and bubbling lye is not a smart move !

Step 9 / I think the soup shouldn't be heated to a point were you can't touch the glass with bare hands ! As it just not ness avert and is quite dangerous !

Yeah, Earthwalker, this tek was created after attempting some others but mostly after intense research on the properties of 'spice', what Ph it is soluble in, what liquids it dissolves in..all that stuff - I guess it isn't really a 'beginners tek' but I don't see any problems with it if followed correctly, no?
Step 3 - In my experience with this cold tek, there has been no emulsions from shaking the jar in the acidified water. The jar is almost STUFFED [[ I'll post more photo's next time, which should be soon, to clarify ]] with the bark, then citric acid and spring water is added. Then it can be shaken, the bark, [[ Shredded, not powdered ]] stays put since the jar is packed in tightly - I also just 'spin' the jar, topwise, often -
Step 7 - The 'soup' is treated first with sodium carbonate. THAT causes the intense bubbling, not the lye. The lye is used at the very end of the Ph range, when it's blackened...the foam from the sodium carbonate takes FOREVER to settle but is resolved very simply with just a LITTLE lye, just enough to wipe out the foam and liquify it, no more than that is recommended, nor needed...then it turns to black soup and no further foaming happens whatsoever -even when Solvent is added for the pulls, which I've had happen several times in the past with other attempts and had to add lye in the middle of pulls which I dont like doing at all. PLUS, I try to use as LITTLE lye as possible.
Step 9 I should have clarified, is only necessary because this tek calls for Heptane, strictly, as Heptane is 'spice selective' [[ Per many posts here on the Nexus and from my own experiences with much higher yieds as per the testimony of the photos I posted (( Nice CHUNKY crystals Thumbs up )) and this can be confirmed here on the nexus : https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=32076 ]] - Other solvents may be used, off course and this step can be 'customized' to suit , per 'solvent'. I think it's wise to educate one's self on how selective each solvent is though - I prefer Heptane as it is quite easy. Others prefer Solvents that pull a full-spectrum. This Tek calls for pulling the other goods out AFTER the initial pulls ith Heptane, to retrieve what is 'left behind'.
Also, the glass gets hot quite easily and gloves are recommended to be on the safe side - Of course caution is recommended but the 16 Fl once bottles can handle a good amount of heat, thick as they are but common sense dictates not to heat them so much they blow up -- Not THAT hot, jeesh!
And yes, step 6 is a typo - I fixed it, thanks, lol! 16 Fluid ounces, NOT liters -
I came up with this tek after years and years of reading and researching. I didn't actually do anything until this year and I tried a few teks but after researching the properties of how spice [ Salt - while still in plant matter ] dissolves easily in acidified water and after making other observations, I simply put the resources I had into obtaining the parts needed and tried it out and WALLAHH ! Nice Chunky Crystals with GREAT yields and HIGH potency - almost TOO strong actually..knocked me on my butt as I wasn't expecting it,Haa haa! My Previous attempts [[ Usually with Napthta ]] resulted in low crystal yeild and lots of 'goo' [[ Scraping 'goo' off Mirrors, SUCKS ! Confused
This tek works, and it works very well if followed exactly.
I don't know how it would work with Naptha as I haven't tried it with other solvents besides the 'After-Pulls' with Naptha/Heptane and never with anything else.
I was so excited to share the results - I edited and fixed the tek, to clarify it more
thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it very much !
DreaMTripper and Swinjin also - Thank you for the Feedback - I actually did go to the chatroom today and thank you so much for replying ... i was beginning to wonder why, as you could see, wasn't anyone talking to me,lol! Very happy
