Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone could clear this out for me.
I recently ordered around 100g straight Mimosa (RB) powder, mainly meant for extractions.
Now I was wondering if it would be possible to save a little dose 10-15g of the powder, so I can combine it with Syrian Rue for an ayahuasca brew; but when I look up the recipes it seems that most require the shredded or root bark Mimosa (my personal guess being these play their role in the filtering-recooking stages?).
Would there be any possibility of a good brew using 15g of the powder mixed in 150-200mL acidific water? Straight one hour boil (might even go up to 3?), and consume it the normal Rue-Mimosa way when it's done (and one-off filtered (I use thick coffee filters))?

Or am I talking nonsense? (I'm a plain beginner in this whole brewing/extracting proces...)

Thanks in advance! Smile

there is little to no difference between the forms in there brew use. Powdered simply has more surface area through which to sap out the DMT and is a tad more annoying to filter. You should be able to brew it like you would a shredded brew, mileage may vary based on brewing length.
