I have been lurking on this forum for almost a year now. My first extraction I followed Josh Isom's TEK and got a nice 1.8% yield on 200g of Acacia Confusa bark. The crystals came out looking so pure I didn't feel the need to run a re-x on it and that ended up being a mistake. The spice I smoked gave me very light experiences to where I could tell I had at least done something right, but it had too many other plant oils and fats in it that the DMT was too diluted to get a good experience. I would load 100mg into a bong and using the sandwich method would smoke all of it and still not have great results.

My second extraction I finished two days ago following Earthwalker's TEK which included a mini a/b to purify the crystal further. Probably due to some minor mistakes or not doing quite enough pulls on my base soup I ended up with a 1.3% yield which I am still pretty pleased with for my second attempt.

I was a little nervous to actually vape this spice with the glass GVG I bought recently. I just knew already that this spice was way more pure than my previous attempt. After spending a couple days to think about what I wanted to get out of the experience, I lit some incense and candles and played some very relaxing beautiful music (Made in Heights if you're wondering). I loaded up 24mg of spice into the GVG and just sitting down with the pipe knowing I would smoke it made my heart beat almost out of my chest in a mixed feeling of excitement and nervousness. I sat with the pipe in my lap for about twenty minutes and meditated.

Feeling ready, I took one long big hit from the GVG and it was so smooth I didn't even feel like I actually inhaled any vapor. Upon exhaling, there was a nice bit of smoke and it felt like something just stole my breath, my breathing became very shallow and for half a second I felt like I was suffocating. This sensation didn't last long as my entire room melted around me and I was surrounded by the most beautiful intricate patterns in vivid colors. I kept my eyes open the entire time but I was clearly not in my room anymore. My ears were ringing very loudly and my mind felt totally calm and at peace, it was a beautiful feeling of serenity.

Gradually my room came back into focus and fractals were dancing on my walls and ceiling. My carpet looked like it went a mile deep and I was a giant looking down on a whole other world. I swept my hand on the carpet and everything rippled like it was a body of water. I could see stars through the other side of my carpet and it looked like it went on for eternity.

It has been a little over an hour since I vaporized the spice. Looking into the pipe I noticed that I didn't even vaporize everything that was in it. I still feel very euphoric and happy, almost like some very very clean MDMA.

This trip I know that I barely scratched the surface of an entire new world. While the fractals were dancing on my walls and playing with the candles I had lit, I suddenly burst into tears. It felt like a hand reached out and touched my heart and I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful life is and how happy I am to be a part of it.

I am very excited to see what will happen when I actually vaporize 25mg in its entirety. But for now I am happy with that experience and will probably give myself at least until this weekend before taking another plunge. I have had many beautiful experiences on high doses of LSD, some limited experience with salvia, and one OBE on a high dose of shrooms. This trip, while light in comparison to the experiences I have read here blew all of those out of the water. This is something totally different in the best possible way.

I wouldn't have even thought I could extract DMT if it wasn't for the wonderful community here. Thank you Earthwalker for making a TEK so simple even I could extract some wonderfully pure crystals. I love all of you and I am excited to hopefully become more involved with the community here.

Welcome and I'm glad you had success and your extraction of 1.3% is a good result , my TEK wouldn't have been possible without Cybs and CTMs hard work ,and my mini AB is just a simple defat , but thank you for your kind words

So far I have been getting my bark from the same source. If I consistently get 1.3% even after I know my techniques have been more or less perfected I may seek out other sources and see if I can get closer to that magical 1.8-2.0%.

There is nothing quite like the satisfaction gained from performing a task well and enjoying the fruits thereof 😏
