Definitely read the links posted here and go through the FAQ, then start just reading through threads. Read through the beginner areas and the general DMT area. Even if they are 40 pages threads. Just read start to finish, that's how you will learn and familiarize yourself with not only this site, but the terms used, smoking apparatuses, dosage, etc etc etc. If you see something in one thread you dont understand, use the search feature to try to search the word you dont understand for other threads where it may be explained. Almost EVERY question imaginable, especially from a beginner stand point, has been answered here before probably multiple times.
And with that said, after you've completed the salt tek...
-you need to get yourself a very good digital scale that can weigh in milligrams. Many say they eyeball dosage, but this, from a scientific standpoint is absurd and careless. You went through your TEK measuring out ingredients carefully, measuring dose is no different and is very very important.
-You also need to get yourself a smoking tool such as a Glass Vapor Genie (abbreviated commonly as GVG) or make yourself a little portable device known as the Machine, which is a small glass liquor bottle with steel wool stuffed into the neck and a small hole punched into the bottom. Some prefer a bong, but DMT in a bong is heated via direct flame. If you took a flame right to your DMT you will waste a lot through pyrolization, aka, burning and destroying your DMT. To use a bong, the sandwich method must be used. A layer of some form of herb, then dmt, then more herb atop your DMT to form a sandwich to prevent direct contact of heat.
-Youll also need something to store your final product in, such as a small case or glass vial or something! You will also need a torch style butane lighter. You can use a bic style lighter, but it is easier to aim and point a cigar style torch lighter than a bic lighter, where the flame always wants to point up.
Once you have at least the scale and something to smoke your DMT with and a heat source, you simply weigh your dose, and then spend a few tries figuring out how to vaporize your DMT without burning it!
It will take a little while learning proper techniques.
A GVG is preferred because in terms of efficiency of vaporization, it heats the DMT loaded into it via convection (hot air moves around it, no direct heat source contact), so it is very easy to vaporize the DMT properly without destroying any, but, at the same time, there is actually quite a learning curve with getting the intensity of the heat and the rate at which you inhale synced up.
