I thought you all might find this interesting.

Recently I harvested ~5 grams of pink albizia flowers and made a decoction with them. The last time I brewed ACRB and harmal, I decided to also consume the albizia tea.

3 grams of crush rue was taken in capsules, followed 30 min later by 7 grams acacia brew.

I waited about an hour after the onset of effects from the acacia, then consumed the flower tea. A few minutes later, I began having visions of an Arabic letter or word. I had no idea at the time what this letter/ word meant. This was fascinating to me as albiza is native to Persia/ SW Asia region. Something similar happens to me on morning glories, where I have visions of Aztec and myan motifs.

Last week I was watching the cosmos series with neil degrasse tyson, the episode in which he tells the story of Ibn Hazen and the islamic golden age of science. In one of the animations, Ibn Hazen was teaching students from all over the known world. The students were writing the word truth on their scrolls (the European wrote veritas, Asian guy wrote it in chinese characters, etc.). When Ibn Hazen wrote the Arabic word for truth, low and behold it was the same thing I had seen in my vision.

Has anyone used this plant in the brew?

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

That's awesome!

Not yet, but I am looking forward to making change from the dried flowers, I really enjoy the effects. I contributed quite a bit to a thread about Persian Silk and other members are also interested in adding it to their brews/change.

There is one tree in my yard and 2 in the neighbor's right on the property line, but they haven't bloomed yet. What latitude or region are you in and how long ago did they bloom? I forget exactly when I harvested them last year and I relocated since then.

My city is located exactly at 30 N and 90 W. Zone 9b.
Nola = New Orleans, LA
They start blooming in May and generally continue all summer.

I also enjoy the effects, smoking the flowers is very nice. I have 2 seedlings that decided to grow in my back yard so I put bricks around them and let them grow where they want. The old timers here call them rain trees.

I also love the trees themselves. When I was young, I spent quite a bit of time climbing them. There's something special about them.

Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

This thread right? https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=48729

I'm very cautious when it comes to ingesting new plants. That thread was accually what convinced me that it was safe to work with, thanks!

They seem to grow everywhere I go. They grow along I-55 all the way from nola to Memphis. Also along I-10 at least as far west as central tx, probably farther. They also grow throughout north & east Texas and Arkansas.

Yeah that's the thread, glad it helped you Smile

So they haven't bloomed here yet, as I speculated. I'm in New England.

I've also liked climbing them, they are special trees, feel very ancient or wise somehow. People don't realize how big they can grow! (40 feet high, I've seen)

After seeing the flowers on entheogen sites, I collect them and save the dried flowers whenever possible. Great medicine.

They're very versatile, it seems they can survive in any climate short of the arctic. There's one around the corner from my home that must be 60-70 feet tall.

I almost forgot to mention this. But if you look at the Arabic word for truth, haqq, the last letter (to the left) looks similar to a cicle. While I I was tripping that day, I thought (and this probably make no sense) that perhaps the ancient pictograph forerunner of this letter was a cicle, that is, cicle cuts plants, plants reveal truth. It all made sense at the time haha.

I was incorrect, that wasn't the letter, this was:

The Arabic letter "nun"

Used by Isis to mark property of Christians in places such as Mosel, Iraq.
I've since learned that I have assyrian ancestors from what is now NW Iran.

I've also read Jeramy narby' book on DNA and the origins of knowledge and it makes perfect sence.

Smile we think it was good that you took that resolve during a previous brew session. We believe that is how it is done. Admixtures are perhaps fantastic ways (beyond psycho-activity alone) to explore and find out secret (hidden) things. We believe that plants are keepers of great secrets, and we have seen this Shocked and it has touched us more than anything....

We who?

I know you are speaking for yourselves but not so sure a visitor would be clear on that.
