A friend of mine had a few full breakthroughs into other worlds as real as this one.After these first experiences he felt the need to kind of start over and begin more slowly.He needed to integrate these things into his life,if that is possible.

He started from scratch and took only small doses(10mg).He meditated beforehand and paid close attention to the effects.Once he became comfortable with 10mg, he moved up to 15 then 20 and is now at 25mg.These are approximate dosages,his scale isnt quite that accurate.

Anyway, he realized that these sub-breakthrough levels were taking him to the same place every time.Swirling multi colored energy that seemed alive and conscious.Twisting and morphing into tunnels and "rooms" covered in geometric patterns.At times vortices would swirl up and form at random.My friend got the impression that these tunnels,rooms and vortices were like wormholes(for lack of a better term)that one could enter and travel to the other worlds and dimensions he had been to on higher doses.But on the sub-breakthrough dose he could not quite get into the wormholes.

His thought is that this is what the shamans can do.They can use their will and intent to choose which dimension to enter for a given purpose.He dosnt mean that a shaman controls the experience exactly but that a shaman can navigate these realms via the cosmic hub that is the sub-breakthrough level.I realize this might not make since but my friend says its hard to put these things into words.

My friend feels that his first breakthrough experiences were him being thrown at random into another world or dimension.Who knows the complex variables that determine which wormhole you go into? My friend thinks it would be best to learn how to navigate this place as a shaman would,if that is possible.

He asked me to ask you all.Do you think it is possible to consciously and purposefully navigate through hyperspace?
If so,do you have any experience doing so? And short of moving to the Amazon and becoming a shaman apprentice how would one learn to do this?

Well i just posted about navigating through hyperspace on another post...but yes I think it is DEFINITELY possible to navigate through hyperspace - to at least some extent anyway - through the use of sound.

Now I know shamans sing their icaros, which may help drive the experience, but in my personal experience so far, simple vocalsing (like throat singing or a didgerydoo impression) has a POWERFUL effect on the DMT visions, deepening, expanding and driving the unfolding visionairy hyperspatial realms...

I bid anyone of inquisitive mind to try vocalising next time they commune with spice or the sacred fungus, and get back to me. If DMT well and truly opens your mind, your mind in this open state seems to become HIGHLY sensitive to self generated sound...but curiously not so much to exterior sounds or music.

SWIM believes that if you were to effectively 'channel' these wormholes, you could travel through them. He has not tested his theory on himself [yet], but firmly believes it is the way. Uncovering how you personally are able to truly channel your intent towards, in this situation, a "location", is what needs to be done.

Fascinating stuff...I recently met a very cool lady, an ethnobotanist from Ecuador, whose grandmother was a shaman and healer...she worked out in the Amazon with different tribes, and told me tales of sorcery that made my hair stand on end...I know ayahuasca has the potential to be a powerful medicine...but there are two sides to every coin, and it can be used, at least among these people for apparent sorcery and attacks...it seems cross species shape shifting is common knowledge there as well...it was maybe even here in the West at one point but organised religion has stamped out much of these supernatural arts...

Moving into the form and taking the same headspace as an animal is not as difficult as one would imagine, find your specific animal or animals tho.
The way animals perceive things is not the same as us so be prepared for some weirdness as you experience the world from their perspective.
As a bird, your eyes are not both on the front of your face, makes for interesting viewing.
