I started this topic mainly because I am an supporter of music during my journeys.I have carefuly selected music over the years to accompany us, especially mixes that are longer in duration, many of them exceeding one hour play time which in my experience is very important. To help one accomodate with the setting, to lower anxiety and to have a smooth background guide that you can trust and help anchor oneself better in the ride that is to unfold.

Please feel free to also add music of your taste that meets the criteria specified.

Enjoy!

1.Mana Wizard - http://www.mixcloud.com/ManaWi/dmtrmx/

" This is a 1 hour set specially mixed for DMT Trips.
For some friends and me was this set a good guide through many DMT Journeys.
100 % DMT proved Pleased
Enjoy the deep meditation sounds which take you to a place out of time."

2.Mana Wizard - http://www.mixcloud.com/ManaWi/samadhi/

" This set from 2010....is mixed with 4 decks to create a 2,5 hours journey in to deep electronic soundscapes which takes you through the different samadhi levels.
"Sorry my english friends i only write this part in german..in the next days i will translate it Pleased in short words explains it
what samadhi means"

3.Baumann Electronics - http://www.mixcloud.com/...mann/sad-beatiful-world/

"És quan plou que ballo sol
Vestit d’algues, or i escata,
Hi ha un pany de mar al revolt
I un tros de cel escarlata,
Un ocell fa un giravolt
I treu branques una mata,
El casalot del pirata
És un ample girasol.
És quan plou que ballo sol
Vestit d’algues, or i escata."

I've had positive and negative experiences regarding music during DMT trips. My most recent was extremely positive,
listening to a Grateful Dead show on archive.org maybe early 80s. Pretty sure it was in July of 1982, but that's neither here nor there.
Blasted off during a particularly jammed out version of Mississippi Half-Step and basically transported myself to the concert through my
trip. I really should've noted exactly what show it was. As close as I'll get to seeing the dead live, in my opinion. Gave me shivers and
plastered a smile on my face for days.

I also have had music insert itself negatively in my trips before, and usually exacerbates the carrier wave I usually get into an ear-piercing
screech. Not shiver-inducing at all, rather uncomfortable. Good topic, btw.
"You are precisely as big as what you love and precisely as small as what you allow to annoy you."

“Of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.”

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”

I sometimes use trips to experience emotional catharsis. If that's what you're going for, then I'd recommend Rachmaninoff's Vespers, especially the recording conducted by Robert Shaw. It's intense, and it may not make you feel "good" during parts of it, but I felt like I had learned a lot when it was over. It's incredibly beautiful, if nothing else.

Chopin's second piano sonata and fourth ballade are amazing. Any set of his nocturnes would also be good. These are all long, aesthetically appealing, and complex.

Not everyone has a thing for classical, but I'm willing to bet most people get it after hearing that music and actually getting to watch it under the influence of psychedelics.

I usually listen to Carbon Based Lifeforms album Interloper
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVFscjOsPRA

But then I have extremely positive memories from a live performance they did on festival, so I always get in a very emotional mood when I listen to them. Which suits me well before taking off into hyperspace.

I once asked a entity if it was ok for them with the music. The answer I got was that whatever I felt was good for me was also good for them. Or should I say, they didn't care about the music they just cared about me.

I definitely recommend www.ektoplazm.com!

People share their great compilations from different genres, more or less related to psy-trance, in 3 different sound qualities (for the djs Wink )!
You are going to find really nice soundscapes to trigger your flight through consciousness, from driving tunes digging you into unknown depth to cosmic spheres to organic and dark forest sounds or hi-tech blazings on the edge of pure madness and genius ... and many more!

Enjoy! All the best, tseuq
Everything's sooo peyote-ful..

This is the type of music I usually play for friends that are first time users that want music. Very euphoric, playful, and grounding.
Four Tet - Unspoken:

Four Tet - As Serious As Your Life:

Personally I prefer glitchier stuff (if any music at all) although it can be quite terifying ha.
Frog Pocket - Heavy Gruts:

Also ventian snares, aphex twin other idm etc.
