Greetings Fellow Psychonauts,

Who am I, you ask? Well, who wants to know?
I'm either living or chasing the dream - depends on when you ask. Well nourished by the sun's rays and the sky's rain, I find myself pluckin' strings in California. I've walked the Earth for over 9,000 rotations, and still feel blessed to see each new day.

I can't remember when I first became interested in psychedelics, or even particularly DMT. Though I am certain it has set my life onto a higher course of existence. Prior to my first experience, I was a very logical, agnostic, thinker. I took refuge strictly within the confines of logic and fact, and anything unprovable was thus uninteresting.

Then DMT slapped me in the face with the swift and firm hand of universal oneness, ego-death, and non-duality.

After witnessing firsthand this potential metaphysical reality, my interests have shifted. My imagination has been opened to an infinite pool of possibility, which I use to create breadcrumbs that may help my fellow sentient beings find their way home.

I thank both the founders and the contributors of this community for creating their own breadcrumbs for others to find the way, and I hope to contribute to this.

Who am I?
I am alive and breathing. I am a healthy mind that can dream, love and create. I am a healthy body capable of navigating and manipulating the space around me. I come from this space, and into this space I shall disperse. Everyday is a miracle.

With Love,
-Synaesthesia

Welcome to the nexus!

You have a way with words, can't wait to read some experience reports from your journeys-
At the center of this existence, it is everything and nothing, all of us and each of us and none of us. My light is now lit, and it cannot be extinguished.

Hi and welcome!

It's encouraging to see you were able to make a significant change in your ways using DMT. I'm hoping for the same, with my rigid logic and atheism, which I find to be quite hard to live with. I'm a bit on the extreme tho, since I use those concept to judge myself and others. Kinda kills the magic and compassion, makes life almost unbearable, for me at least.

I don't have much credit tho, psychotherapy made me realize all this, and it made me ripe for big changes and become more of a human being. The human brain seems to have a universal thirst for the supernatural, and It seems DMT is a shortcut to quench it.

I'm hoping to try it soon (waiting for a glass bat vaporizer), even more so reading your experience.

Thanks for sharing, looking forward to read more!

Despite the quiet discontent often associated with a logic-driven existence, many intellectuals never question such a mindset because it's all they've been conditioned to know. Like the thirsty traveler unaware of groundwater mere feet beneath the Earth he treads, how can one expect to recognize and grasp that which forever eludes their field of vision?

You are lucky. The desire for change has been awakened within you, the way for growth is making itself apparent, and you are taking action.

While DMT revealed to me the illusory nature of reality, the meat of my progress is owed to the integration of these realizations through meditation, contemplation and mindful awareness. No drug will do all the work - real spiritual progress is achieved by the sweat of one's brow.

"Thus with patience I will strive with diligence.
For in such diligence enlightenment is found.
If no wind blows, then nothing stirs,
And neither is there merit without diligence."
-Shantideva

Good luck!
