Hello fellow members. After turning on a friend of SWIM to the magic of spice, this friend decided to acquire some spice on their own. This friend wanted SWIM's opinion regarding the legitimacy of the spice in question. Turns out, it looks a bit different than the kind that SWIM had before. Just wanted to get some input from fellow members regarding purity, validity of said spice based on appearance.

Based on appearance, it's cocayyyyyyyne!!!!

Jkjk, if it smells like spice then it's likely spice. Looks similar to what my buddy had once.

You will have to forgive the lighting issue. Best shot SWIM's friend could come up with. The color is a bit browner/tan. Almost like a beige instead of the light yellow that is showing in the picture. SWIM's friend has actually been holding onto this spice for a few months now. Apparently there was a smell that SWIM's friend described almost like a baby lotion kind of smell but as SWIM is looking at it now, there is no real smell as it lays on the wood. Just want to get takes on this. I've heard that a beige/tan color means more impurities? Want to give SWIM's friend the right take on this.

Also just wanted to verify that the spice is more powdery and less crystalline than the spice that SWIM had before.

I doubt anyone will be able to really identify it based on the picture alone. If you're worried about impurities, you could try and do a re-crystalization. Other than that, it looks like dmt but there is really no way to tell afaik.

Maybe chop it up with a card and see if it releases any smell? Maybe do a re-x, or maybe just have a small puff. A small puff should verify whether it's legit or not.

What do you mean by 'acquire' ? I guess you mean extract, as we can't discuss it any other way. If it was extracted by conventional means I would say this looks just like DMT that was crashed out quickly in a freezer from some yellowish pulls. The dude in question may want to do a recrystallize it or perform a mini a/b. No need to though, lots of people enjoy it when its yellow and smells of lilly pollen crossed with new shoe leather. I mean just look at the state of 'jungle spice', but people like that too.

If it was acquired by some other means then... well... can't say much.

^ Looks exactly like some of my extracts. But if you don't trust the source enough to ask here, maybe would want to invest in the peace of mind that you get from a testing kit.

Reagent test should be able to give you a close enough answer.
