Hello NEXUS,

I discovered the DMT NEXUS while I was seeking information on morning glory extraction. Articles found on erowid seemed inconsistent. One contradicted another and most people who extracted LSA using the recipes ended up with inactive material. I consider morning glory a great substitute for some more interesting substances as nowadays those are hard to get for me. I also have great sentiment for the seeds because I had my first heavy (unluckily not heavenly) trip on them. But I struggled with its taste and effects on stomach and body in general. Now I’m on my mission to find an effective and fairly easy way to extract LSA from MG. As an unregistered user I couldn’t post anything so here I am on the welcome area. A new member for a start, but maybe in some time I’ll become a full member. We’ll see.

Who I am? A guy in his late 20s, trying to find his own way through life, starting to take things seriously, no more excuses. On the edge of full adulthood, on every level – I hope.

My story with mind altering substances begins with official indoctrination, a false learning in school, media, from parents. I was told drugs are bad, they have no good use and always wrecks one’s live. Every substance is the same. But wait a second… Something is wrong, why my peers who smoke weed aren’t going down the drain? I know they do it for a while, but I don’t see no proofs of addiction, nothing I was taught. They’re having great fun and no hangover the next day, why won’t You try? I tried… And it was nothing like I was told of it in school. It was nothing bad. I needed to find some different source of information and I was told of erowid. It was it.

I learned. The substances become my fascination. For a long time I was preparing myself for practical knowledge. I tried many things, not every experience was good. Some were very difficult, for some I wasn’t ready, some changed me forever. Some were even mistakes – but one learns on his own mistakes.

At some point I came across a book LSD Psychotherapy of Stan Grof and it inspired me. I wanted to go through the process myself. Everybody has some problems, so do I. Not everybody is aware of them. It was really hard to find a proper sitter for my sessions, I needed a trusted friend who would know what to do if something went wrong. I didn’t know nobody with experience with psychedelics so I needed to teach the two friends who agreed to help me. The first session revealed that the idea to be sitted by an inexperienced person while having death-rebirth trip wasn’t really bright. But I succeeded with second, third and more sessions.

Unfortunately there were always some obstacles to have a session. Too little time, no safe space, too busy sitter, me too busy. Sometimes after a difficult trip I wasn’t too eager to continue and obviously there was no one to tell me that I should return on the path. I needed time to go back.

For 4 years now my girlfriend is my sitter on the sessions but it doesn’t change anything. After I finished collage, started working fixed hours, moved from my parents the situation became even worse. It’s so frustrating…

I don’t have time for my passion. But I still hope things will change somehow.

I hope things do change for you! Your mind has been opened to a lot of things and it would be great if you could get to explore this more comfortabley in your own time. I'm have a similar background to you so I can at least partially understand your situation. I'm glad and excited to have come across the Nexus, I think our journeys will have a lot of great support because of it, and hopefully we'll have something to contribute too.

Well wishings anyway!
Y

Thank You,

I think things already started to change. Yesterday I had really beautiful and rewarding session on mushrooms after more than 1,5 year pause. And just before liftoff I got a message about being promoted to full membership Very happy

Thank You NEXUS.
