Greetings, I am very interested and sincere about becoming a member of this community. I have been interested for many years in the topic of entheogens, and ethnobotany.

I was greatly influenced by people like Tierence Mckenna, Robert Anton Wilson, Timothy Leary, John Lilly, Ralph Metzner, Alan Watts and many more.

I run a small ethnobotanical and heremetic supply shop online and produce music for a living.

I practice magick and mysticism and am trying to start my own system based on Thelema and Astrum Argentum, an offshoot In which I haven't chosen a name for yet.

I still have a lot to learn but I am willing to help support the community in anyway I can and am able to.

Thanks!
Kaktos

Hello Kaktos,

Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you so much for sharing your introduction essay with us - it was concise yet informative. Very nice.

So, trying not to make any assumptions here, do you have much entheogen experience yourself? Have you tried DMT yet and if so vaped or oral? What did you think?

I encourage you to explore the forums thoroughly. There is a LOT to see. The links at the top of the forum pages are helpful too. I do hope you like and enjoy what you find.

Warm Regards,
Pandora

Thanks guys!

I am completely certain I will find loads of information here that is right up my ally. Unfortunately I haven't yet had the opportunity to experience with the great DMT. It would seem my future holds extraction as the best possible means of such a voyage.

I am however very familiar with psilocybin and lsd. I have found the tryptamine hallucinogens to be the utmost help with all my mental ailments. A regular monthly trip seems to bring on a prolonged period of balanced stability where everything is working in harmony.

I look forward to learning more and getting to know the community better!

Absolutely home extraction shall be your path to DMT! No question at all. Please don't consider any other options man.

I know extraction sounds daunting, but really it is a matter of carefully following instructions, keeping safety concerns always topmost in mind, and adopting an attitude of slow and steady wins the race.

Have you ever cooked a meal from scratch using a recipe that you never cooked before? Kitchen chemistry can be this easy. It is all about preparing in advance, reading three times and pouring/mixing once. Keep your projects small, discrete and private and no harm should befall you.

Be sure to check out the wiki link above for a plethora of time-tested teks that produce real results.

Doing it at home means embracing ultimate safety, ironically. All of a sudden you are removed from a potentially dangerous or deadly commerce. Now you have control. You know exactly what this substance is, how it got this way, what was done when and why, because you did it. Any fear that may arise around, "What the heck is this anyway? Is it pure? Is it safe?" falls away. It is what you extracted and as clean as you chose to make it. Now your only fears are . . . . . you, Love .
