I'm really happy for you (and a tiny bit jealous) that you are able
to attend last minute. I was also checking flights for tomorrow and
sadly they are much too expensive for me, not to talk abut entrance fee - anyway absorb any information
for us, I am eager to hear what you will tell us.

Maybe you could attend Ben de Leonen, he is the founder of ICEERS, which organizes
the conference. Also SIÃ KAXINAWA and the other Shamans seem interesting.
For the pharmacological/neuroscientific part definitely check JOSÉ CARLOS BOUSO and JORDI RIBA,
both doing official research with ayahuasca - would love to hear their newest results
especially what novelties about our brain/consciousness their applied neuroimaging techniques revealed.

I think one of the toughest things might be to decide which talks you'd like to attend, with so many interesting topics occurring concurrently in different rooms, it seems likely that you'll have some choosing to do. I'd say if you're able to, attend the nexus presentation. Attending the talk in person (obviously not everyone is physically able to) would be an excellent act of support, only adding to the tremendous amount of support already shown by members here. The entire session is filled with speakers worth listening to, so along with the nexus presentation you'll get some hear other noteworthy talks.

Although I appreciate, as I am sure many others here do, your offer to be a intermediary for those here who are not able to attend, don't forget to pursue your own interests. There is a diverse range of talks, maybe some that address issues you've been engaging with, which could be extremely fulfilling/beneficial.

Along with Cosmic Spore and Irrlicht's requests, let us know whether you asked any questions, what they were and their subsequent responses.

Apart from that, I hope you have a incredible time. Network and engage with people, be receptive to the information presented - soak it all up.

I don't know that I would ask members of either site to "out" themselves, but that's just me. Aside from the awkward position it may put some people in to be confronted with such a question, I would question the relevance of such a question. As a Nexian, I might feel a surge of pride to discover a fellow member, but as a non-member, the question would carry no meaning. Additionally, most speakers only have 15 minutes to speak and 5 minutes for questions. Given the caliber of presenters and the fact that many in the audience may not get this opportunity again, perhaps questions related to the subjects presented would be more apt?

Agreed, I hadn't thought of it that way. Also, I didn't mean ask them for their usernames, I meant just see if they are a member; after reading your post I agree there are more important & relevant questions to be asked in the allotted time.

I hear you and completely understand the enthusiasm, hell I wouldn't mind knowing. I just wanted to share how compressed the conference is, as most people seem to be either running out of time or limiting the number of questions asked
