A friend gifted me this cactus! I've never seen a live, whole san pedro before. This is what it was claimed to be, but my friend doesn't know anything about cacti and just got it from another friend. Could a cacti expert or enthusiast help confirm the ID?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Thanks dg! can you help with the species too? I know there's a few different types. My guess is t. Pachanoi?

Do they all like the same soil / growing conditions? I want to make sure I give this guy exactly what it wants.

PC (predominant cultivar) pachanoi. Weak but usable and grows fast.

Burning the locals, abusing the tourists, terrifying the help.

Just a couple of sides notes:

- You can use cuttings to make several cactuses.
- It looks like you are growing it the same way you would weed. From what I understand, not only is this unnecessary, but you might end up harming the cactus. Take a look into it Thumbs up
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Yea I'm not sure yet what setup I'll arrange it with. I just had it near those lights to get decent pictures.

My friend gave it to me with the intention of making lots of cuttings, but it seems too young to support that. How old / large should they be before cloning?
