Greetings friends!

I'm very happy to finally become a Nexian. (or have I always been since the beginning of no beginning? 0.o) hehe.

I won't post too much of an introduction, though I do want to sincerely express my gratitude for the existence of this community. I think it's a very effective and practical step to unifying like-minded, highly intelligent, and most importantly in my opinion FREE people.

I'm of a philosophical/skeptical temperament; I value understanding and imagination above what we conventionally call knowledge. I consider myself a student of eternity in the sense that I have surrendered my compulsive tendencies to control the "happening". I feel, in a way, privileged to have come to see the unity, which becomes evident when we simply stop seeking/thinking/looking, allowing the torrent of the River to carry us as it simply IS.

I want my life to be in part to encourage and extend this fundamental understanding/awareness to others, doing what I can to ensure the rise of a new kind of world where people are not preaching peace with the loom of mutual annihilation suspended above there heads.

I study deeply the works of Alan W Watts and Terrence Mckenna; though I try not to fall into the trap of idolizing figures, I do believe these two individuals were probably two of the most in-sync, in-tune, with-IT persons of the last hundred years. If you have not listened/read the works of Alan Watts especially, I submit to you unconditionally it'll be the best decision you ever made (at least in the last thirty minutes of your life, haha)
Of course, there are others - these are just the two I spend most of my time listening to and reading.

Other people I adore and read are Aldous Huxley, Carl Sagan, Bertrand Russell, Krishnamurti, and especially recently, Lao Tzu among other Chinese Sages and ancient books like the I-Ching.

Anyhow, so that's a little bit about me, and I look forward to contributing to discussions of personal interest, primarily what we can as a collective force do to empower the world, and establish the "new intellectual order which will be the savior of us all".

Thank you,
İ

[P.S. - In case there are any folks wondering what my title means, ƒ(∞) ; I think of it as a way to represent myself, (as each of you, too) as a functioning or featuring of the whole universe/infinity/eternity. Here I am, you see, happening, and there's not a shred of WHY involved. What's happening? I'm happening. Well, why are you happening? *That's when I start dancing.]

Hello ƒ(∞),

Welcome to the Nexus. That was a beautiful introduction. I have absolutely no doubt many of us here aspire to the state(s) of which you wrote.

Yeah no complaints about Watts or McKenna here. I personally love the Watts talk on The Alchemy of LSD. I'm glad you mentioned Watts. I think I'll listen to some of those talks again, Very happy.

I wonder if you might be willing to share a bit about your psychedelic experience if you have any. Have you tried DMT yet? What did you think?

Regardless of what brings you to the Nexus, I heartily welcome you.

Warm Regards,
Pandora

Pandora,

I appreciate the hospitality! You seem very kind.

As for my psychedelic background experience, I have only done mescaline (I'm pretty sure it was mescaline, anyway). I wrote a report on it about six months ago. I'm the kind of explorer that doesn't mind the prospect of drowning at sea in search of the Shore. My first trip ever was with this drug, and its dose was ( I think) around 400 mg. Based on the research and homework I've done on mescaline, there's simply no way that my dosage was any less than that, considering the sheer magnitude of what happened to me.

See, I started listening to Alan Watts about two to three years ago. In a kind of loose way, I had been entertaining, at least intellectually, what the philosophies of the East were talking about, in terms of being one with the universe/Tao, that each of us is Buddha/God/Atman. This is one of the reasons I adore Alan so much; the man beautifully articulated the unspeakable in ways that would later resonate on a very peculiar yet deeply familiar frequency with me (After my experience with mescaline).

I'll put it this way: I've known it for years intellectually that I am inseperable from the world, which I have been conditioned to believe is external/outside of my doing/karma. A few hours into my trip with mescaline, I knew it no longer exclusively intellectually (which is but a shadow of the True)... I knew it in my heart/soul/whole being; I FELT IT, or rather, i WAS the IT. I saw the entire universe before my eyes, and I kept saying to my friend that was with me, "I'm Everywhere!" ... "I'm Everyyywherrree!" .... *gasping for air "I'MMMM EVVERRRYYYWHHHERRRREEE".

Sounds nuts, I know. This is the reason I've chosen to integrate myself with this kind of community - one which simply understands the THING.

So, after that experience, I understood Alan's words with perfect clarity: "Once you've got the message, hang up the phone!" Especially after this experience, I simply feel at ease, completely unafraid of death/beyond, and convicted absolutely that I am here, in this particular form, fascinated with myself (ego), and that's the way it is - a part of the whole, in basic unity with everything. I'm everywhere.

I didn't really mean to write all of that. I apologize if it's out of place here. I'm passionate about this sort of thing, and I really feel it's a crime and grotesque abuse of power to control the use of the extraordinary illuminating drugs, keys to our consciousness. This is another reason I've joined this community. I will fight the regulation of what's fundamentally our right to explore to my grave, and I want to join forces and establish a kind of resistance to this sick and dying human global society.

I plan on using DMT soon! I'm actually performing 69ron's tek with D-limonene in a couple of days! I want to use mescaline as a tool for meditation and psychic exploration.

Peace

btw: not a word of caution, but - better (not) mention/hide/unhide this "I am Everything" notion and "Where ever beings exist throughout the universe - You're all of'em" when you're space travelling with old buddy Dūraoša, cause if he/it/they take notice (he/it/they can see that from your files) if one is not firmly anchored in the equivalent of the ten Bhumis, he will (sometimes) just open the floodgates of THE ALL, and then he/it/they will say that he/it/they cannot close them again, leading to the only one final outcome - being extinguished by it, anyway, one can (hopefully) remanifest thereafter, and ignore the fact (to a certain extend)...wa sallaam

Intezam and Oversoul, thank you for your kind welcomings!

Intezam,

You've strung a chord somewhere and now I'm ticking, deciphering what you said in the "btw" part of your post, and I'm wondering what you mean. I think I have some idea. Let me say a little something that happened in my mescaline experience which changed my life that I think relates to your warning.

I wasn't restricted in ordinary consciousness. Me eyes were closed, I was laying on the floor on my back, falling through the abyss of realms subconscious. I won't go into too much detail but I soon discovered that it's impossible to fall through the abyss when I knew that the Abyss was ME.

It occurred to me the question: Is it worse to be terrified of the full presentation of the Eternal before your very vision, or is more nightmarish to suddenly realize that actually, you are the Eternal itself - that You've been doing this forever and ever, ceaselessly amid the cycle of forgetting you're IT, to find it out once again only to wish once more that you didn't find IT out. And so you forget.

Somewhere in the middle of these revelations, I experienced something I can only describe as a mixture of "longing to go" and "being pulled", like I am simultaneously reaching out my hand (which I remember physically doing) and also feeling something pulling me in. I remember saying to my two friends which were with me (who were also on the drug): "If you don't bring me back now, I will die." Somehow, I wasn't afraid. I was in a state of peace I never knew before. It permeated my being.

This absolutely intense vibrational ecstatic orgasmic type of energy was simply overwhelming me, and I KNEW (I can't explain how I simply knew it), I had a certainty about it, an unreserved conviction, that I had a choice, that I could make a decision. This decision involved leaving right then and there. I could simply "go on". I felt this power (if that's the right word) to let go of my life, to release my energy/being from this body, and leave, dissolve into something I can only describe as a state of absolute intellectual genius, perfect clarity. I knew I was eternal. I knew I could never die. I had not a shred of fear about "dying" anymore. That feeling is completely dissolved to this moment. But I didn't release myself. I thought that I had to come back, that others must see what I saw.

[From then on, my life in its turn, I knew was going to involve helping others see, and to do my part to defeat the notions of controlling and regulating these illuminating and boundary dissolving drugs. ]

In the middle of all of this, I exclaimed a few times: "I'm either extremely stupid or a genius." I say this to convey the sense of extreme clarity and illumination which became my subconscious mind. I knew the entire history of the universe; I'm pretty sure I somehow witnessed the Big Bang by "remembering it". (That's another part of the story in itself.) I was everywhere. The speed of my intellect was incomparable to any rate I've known before. I didn't think I was ever coming back. And I was completely fine by that - not merely "fine", but ecstatically joyous. It wasn't mere surrender either - I embraced it, I suppose I could say I fell deeply into Love with Myself/Eternal?

I to this moment am still inclined to feel susceptible to going into the light, because I've seen and felt the supreme state. In theological language, I could relate by saying I'm convinced I saw the mind of God.

Intezam, you said: "it will open the floodgates of THE ALL", and it will say that it cannot open them again".
That intrigues me, and I mean on a very deep level.

Thank you synergeon!

Funny joke lol.

ƒ(synergeon) = universe.
ƒ(universe) = synergeon.

Thus, universe = synergeon.

And yeasssss, Carl Sagan is the man. You should watch Sagan's series Cosmos, and after that try Neil DeGrasse Tyson's Cosmos, based on Sagan's, but updated.

Anyhow, I welcome you too!
And yes, I'm passionate enough to feel simultaneously inclined to destroy the world and save it. I haven't decided which yet. heh.

Peace

well....that's not exactly what we said. We said: ...and then he/it/they will say that he/it/they cannot close them again...
We are in no positioning to hand out warnings. Intezam is very, very sloppy, sloppy in life-style, sloppy eating, sloppy sleeping, sloppy dressing, sloppy learning, sloppy thinking, sloppy brewing haoma, sloppy dosing, sloppy spoon method, sloppy pouring out of the bag method, sloppy curry masala method, sloppy everything..etc. We believe we became like this as a migrant's antidote to the Børg ways in order to remain at ease (undetected/ignored).

So......now, we have taken someone's advise. And we purchased a 20/0.001 digital scale. But will it happen again? Probably, because even then, there is sloppy decision making process at work here...Shocked
