Hi dear Nexians,
Some have seen this intro already, but due to some change concerning personal data, I'm posting it again with slight changes
So...
I have been reading in this forum for quite some time now and I think it's time to introduce myself to this wonderful entheogenic university.
I have been very interested in DMT and chemistry for quite a while now and have been growing my own acacias and also else (owned a Kratom and Mimosa hostilis small tree) for years. They are just beautiful trees that incorporate a whole bunch of different interesting alkaloids, that I decided to wanting explore
.
I have very little experience with LSD, took shrooms once, about which I can remember that in the end of the trip I was going to go home by train, very early in the morning, and there was nobody in the wagon with me. Suddenly I started hearing voices behind me, as if there was a crowd of people, talking very fast and in a kinda creepy way. I tried to relax but a feeling of uncertainty remained. I just hoped that the voices are not gonna stay forever as I knew that those voices are very much like those some people suffering from schizophrenia are used to hear. I thought: "I will go home, lie down in bed, fall asleep and when I wake up, I'll be normal again". Thus, so I did and it all came as I hoped.
The one LSD experience was different to the mushroom trip particularly in that, concerning the shrooms trip, the only effect I got was the voices near the end of the trip. No visuals as in my lsd experience, which have been truely impressive, intense. But if I'm gonna try lsd agin some day, then I will definitely take less, just so I would have a little more control during the trip.
Currently I am gardening and making nice photos of my plants quite often.
I have plants of a.leiocalyx, a.acuminata (narrow phyllode, broad phyllode and small seed), a.concurrens, a.decurrens, maidenii, a.mucronata var. longifolia, a.phlebophylla, a.oxycedrus, a.colei. Also had an a. obtusifolia tree, that reached ca. 2 meters of height but unfortunately died suddenly.
I started an extraction on that tree (stem, branch, phyllodes) together with phyllodes and stems from some a.maideniis and I got a result with an approximately 0,5-0,6% (if i remember correctly). I guess I had luck with getting a high yielding plant
Haven't bioassayed yet, since I accidentaly mixed it with an mimosa extract for further cleaning ((. Still having problems ending that extraction because in the mimosa h. solution was hcl and after basing i got a heavy precipitation of quite big needles. Its really a lot. When adding limonene it's almost impossible to get a clear separation, only filtering helps. With xylene it looked a little better I think. Now I am thinking on how to proceed with the filtered and dried precipitations. The NPS used were saved for FASW- salting. I think I could talk in an own thread about the process. I wanna know what all those needles are
If I just remembered the hcl in the mimosa solution, damn (, because i knew not to use hcl with acacias, but what now? hmm.
From now on I won't mix different plants or species anymore; there are indeed good reasons for that, like nen pointed out
But i actually like those experimentations; they are kinda fun
I like to do it the Fumaric-Acid-Salting-Out Way (FASW, FASA, FASI) and limonene really works wonderfully. I am also going to work with dcm soon, let's see how that goes.
When it comes to the sodium carbonate paste part, i figured that separating the acetone from the sodium cabonate can be kind of a 'frustating' procedure as of course one doesn't want to use too much acetone (acetone gets sucked up by the carbonate and also compaction occurs preventing to some extent a gravity driven flow of the acetone through the cotton wool in the neck of a HDPE bottle (need to optimize my vacuum pump setup
) ) but one the other hand definitely wants to do a complete extraction of the goodies.
DMT fascinates me
. I am willing to contribute to this forum as much as possible => looking forward to posting plant pictures and discussing extractions and its chemistry, helping others as much as I want to be helped if I have a question :-).
cheers,
