Since I was browsing this forum for some time as a non-member, I've noticed that many prefer jet lighters, over classic lighters, such as Bic ones. Is it really hard to efficiently vape the spice with ordinary lighters?
I just placed an order for one of those jet lighters, btw.
I'll be smoking through machine, and I hope that I'll soon get one of those GVGs.
Thanks.
Peace and love.

I think a Bic works fine. In fact, you'd probably want to avoid a lighter with a higher temperature to avoid burning the spice. I can't speak from experience because I have only used Bics for DMT... but they have worked a-ok for me using the sandwich method! POADS is gone!

I cant speak from experience as I've only been using a bic, but I would ASSUME the torch lighters are better because of a more accurate flame, meaning you can control your heat source a bit easier.
On the topic of the machine, how are you heating your spice? Are you applying directly to the mesh, or are you heating the glass, or are you slowly raising the temperature of the mesh so that it 'melts' the spice?

Bic's are more fun in terms of they take a bit more concentration to use. When you breathe in the flame, you really have to control your breath, which in some way, helps with the flight into the journey because your focusing the mind. That being said, Jet Lighters are easier when it comes to melting and vaping the dmt. The flame is more accurate, as well as the heat being more concentrated than that of a bic, which allows you to take flight with less concentration (to a degree, this is not 100% fundamental)โฆ It ultimately comes down to preference. Having a Jetlighter and putting that thing on DMT is like listening to a rocket. The fear is complemented with some freakishly hot and loud blue flame, which can ultimately be a bit disturbing if you're not focused or already afraid of launching. Hope this helped, love you xoxo ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png)

I guess it really depends on the device/method being used to vaporize. When I used to use The Machine, torch lighters and Bic lighters both worked equally well. When using the GVG on the other hand, torch lighters work much better.

Noted. Thanks everyone for your replies. What I like about torch lighters is that their flame is concentrated and directed, so you can find perfect distance, which will give you perfect temperature for vaping, and flame doesn't wobble around, and is insensitive to air movements. I'll soon see what works the best. Peace and love.

Looks nice, just like Arc Turboflame. Mine arrived two weeks ago. It looks nothing like Arc Turboflame, but is still awesome. Other than vaping spice, these things melt coper, aluminum, glass, lead...they're awesome to play around. It runs out of fuel pretty fast when you play with it though. ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png)
