I would've prepared enhanced leaf(had I known the power of Item 9Pleased) or at the very least, would've used a better rig, ended up burning most of the first batch I ever received from my buddy. Now that I extract my own, it doesn't matter much, but my smoking technique has improved quite a bit.

Oh well, that's learning by trial and error right? Not to mention the fact that the spice of life is everywhere Cool

Seeing as i screwed up everything that could be screwed up in both a spice extraction and a smoalking of spice, here is a brief list...

1) when making changa, do not soak a bunch of chamomille tea in the first few nps pulls from 500g ACRB, evap it, and then proceed to pack 1/3 of a gram of that chamomille changa in a bonga. I then proceeded to smoalk that bonga between 3 other people (and I) and we smoalked that bowl over the course of an hour-definitely wouldn't recommend but it was a great introduction to DMT nonetheless

2) Always have some water on hand. For some reason whenever I smoalk DMT i get extremely thirsty and dry and often need to have some water on hand to wash myself off with and drink on the comedown. Upon taking a master-sized hit from that bonga of changa I previously mentioned, I became uncontrollably thirsty, stammered over to the fridge, and somehow managed to open it up and pour an entire gallon of water over my body before crashing limp to the floor on the 2nd breakthru I had achieved from that bowl.

3) Always weigh out your dose. While I understand that ACRB goo is difficult to dose and it is practically impossible to fatally overdose from DMT via vaporization, too much DMT will make you black out and forget the lessons you have had the honor of receiving from the spirit world. Up until this month, I have only had access to a scale which measured down to the 10th of a gram Shocked. Unsurprisingly, my dosing DMT over this past year of extracting and ingesting has been erratic and random, a form of intergalactic Russian Roulette of the mind. Some of my journeys have been too shallow. Others have been just right. And others... well those others were just something else or nothing else. There is a fine line between a life changing collision with the Godhead and a total whiteout from too much spice. For the love of all that is holy, please ALWAYS weigh out your dose of any drug(s) you are ingesting (yes this goes for cannabis too)! A white/black/rainbow out on DMT is nothing short of a galactic waste and should be avoided at all costs.

Have fun and stay safe.

It was out of my control but I would've prefered it if the person that was kind enough to introduce me to dmt hadn't told me beforehand that "dmt kills you. When you take it you die, and see what you would see if you die".
If he was trying to freak me out he succeeded. Not the best way to set up for the 1st time.
On the bright side him saying that scared me enough to have a very vague idea of what I was getting myself into.
Then I smoalked it and realized how little I do know.

I would have smoked a lot less. My first time using DMT was in 2010, and I had little clue what I was doing. I had read reports on it, and had a vague idea of what it might be like, but I really wasn't prepared. Anyway, I was sitting with a group of 5 or 6 friends, and we had all just gotten two grams of DMT. At this juncture in my life, getting blasted seemed to be the major priority, not a good mindset, and not one that I hold about any potential experience these days.

I had read about it's spiritual qualities, but hadn't really put them to heart either. I suppose I had expected it to be a lot less powerful of an experience, and just something to trip out on. With this group of 5 or 6 people, no one in the room had partaken in DMT before. I was the first to smoke it, and the person who loaded the bowl for me put quite a bit on. Not knowing, I went for it all. I smoked close to 400 mg, or 4/10ths of a gram, a bit too much for sure. I felt the effects hit almost instantly, and panic set in.

I had experience with LSD and Psilocybin, but nothing could prepare me for that. When I let the smoke out, the smoke was smooth and cartoon like. As I was exhaling, the person who sat opposite from where I sat's face turned red, and then the red turned into a perfect square, the deepest shade of any color (it was red) I have ever experienced. Everything around the red square was quickly becoming smooth and cartoon like. There were no real shadows, no depth. It was actually quite terrifying.

I was literally speechless and couldn't move. I figured I was actually dying, and wanted badly to warn the others around me that they would die too if they smoked it, but the words would not come out. I got deeper and deeper, and refused to close my eyes. Not once in the experience did I close my eyes, I was afraid of what might happen if I did. It felt as if I couldn't feel the air I was obviously breathing in. The visuals were nothing but pure color, each box in my field of vision representing a pure contrast from the next. There was no gradient to anything, no shadow, no form.

It was unlike any DMT experience I had since. That was several years ago, but for the rest of my life, I will always remember the initial exhalation of smoke and the red box. The box was so surreal, something I had never experienced before. It wasn't like the visuals I get from using DMT these days at all. When I use DMT these days, I get a very peaceful trip, very geometrical visuals, almost as if I can see code in everything. The first experience was not like that in any way.

It was as if there was a block being put in place, so that I wasn't allowed to see what a normal DMT trip was like. I attribute this to my attitude towards psychedelics back then somewhat. Doing a substance like DMT just for the prospect of getting high was not the right mindset, and this was the prevailing message I got from the first trip.

After that day, I really had a new outlook on psychedelic usage though. I really got into meditation and lucid dreaming after that as well. Overall it was a wake up call, and a good experience. But I can't deny that at the time it felt like death was inevitable, and quite frightening.

These days though, I like to hike up mountains, meditate when I find a good spot, and partake when I feel right. Much better experiences all around. Thumbs up

No regrets. The universe provides you with each moment to experience something spectacular and learn from the experience. Why change that?

About the only thing I might have changed would be to have done it with someone quite experienced with the spice so I could get my technique down properly. I don't think I ever actually burned any spice the first few times (I did start with using a GVG right from the get go), but I also don't think I have it down 100% yet.

Only thing different that I would have done would have been to close my eyes. I was so struck with astonishment that it completely slipped my mind. I would be very curious what kind of closed eye vision would have been presented to me had I shut my eyes.

I was so open to the experience, that it ended up being a perfect trip. I only wish it could have lasted longer.

I would have took that 3rd hit Twisted Evil ... but seriously, I really regret not smoking enough my first time. Try and keep going until you can't anymore, or get a good mg scale and make sure you get it all.

I didn't weigh out my dosages so they were pretty hit or miss. Invest in a $20 mg scale so you can have repeatable results too. Spicemaster hit the nail on the head with that one.

My first trip was perfect. Safe space... No music... Trusted sitter who I'd taken acid with plenty of times. It was a mid-dose trip, full immersion geometric cathedral interior with little guys bicycling around on an alien circuit board floor. 20 years and 50ish trips later, it's still clear as day.

I would have held the flame closer, or picked something calmer for my first psychedelic...

The first time I smoked it, I was trying to get a feeling for the dosage (goo, no scales), and kept putting more and more into the bowl trying to feel something. What I failed to realize was that instead of vaporizing and going into my lungs, it was all just melting down into the layer of tobacco underneath. I made the mistake of saying "figures, this stuff doesn't even work" and suspected I had been ripped off on my bark. I load what I can guess as about 35mg of goo back into it for one final try, then rip it as hard as I possibly can, thus burning all of it, and everything that had oozed down underneath it, in one massive toke.

The result? The feeling of being strapped to the nosecone of a Saturn V on steroids as my soul was ripped from my body before I was halfway finished inhaling. I was 100% sure I had just died, and proceeded to whiteout. My girlfriend said the whiteout only lasted about 30 seconds before my eyes popped back open, and what intrigued me the most was that I had absolutely no visuals except a different, enhanced sense of depth perception, and the feeling as if I was watching my living room from some place, some white room, "higher", like I had the neck of a giraffe or something. Then the extreme feeling of deja vu set in, like I had lived out this exact situation thousands of times since the birth of the universe, before I finally "came down and was totally sober and not tripping".

I then asked my girlfriend how long ago I sat the pipe down. She replied "maybe 2 minutes ago". I take a sip of water, then sit in silence for at least 20-30 minutes deeply reflecting on the whole "only 2 minutes?!?!" thing, then took another sip of water. For some reason I asked her "how long ago did I take that first drink?"

She giggles: "You literally JUST sat it down."

An eternity later, I very shakily decide I'm not tripping anymore and go to bed.

The experience utterly terrified me, and if I could change one thing about it, I would have vaped it correctly to start with. If I could change two things, I would have tried something light first, like the amount of acid Cheech ate in Up in Smoke. Yeah, this scene.

My first time was pretty much perfect. If i could do it again, I'd want the experience to go the exact same, except I think I would have liked to have had more spice. My first meeting with the molecule was gifted, so I had a very small, limited amount to experiment with. He gave me about 50mg to try... I didn't go for a break through for the first time, but it was probably one of the most special moments in my life. I dunno... maybe I wouldn't have added more spice to the mix. The small taste lead to so much anticipation and excitement.... And the anticipation and excitement really added excellence to my first breakthrough.

It's hard to say if I would do anything different. It's been a great adventure, so far.
Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

I would have smoalked moar, I truly wondered what all the fuss was about after the first time I flew. I was worried about what the rabbit hole was going to be like and should have just thrown myself in.

Ironically my first ever extraction produced the finest pure white I've ever had. I guess I'm one of those who believes dmt came to me, so no i wouldn't change anything.

I wasn't a nexus reader nor did i read many trip reports prior to my first go, I'm thankful for that to be honest.

I would not have smoked it out of a little freebase pipe; that was much too hot for me at that time. Also I probably shouldn't have used a giant torch to heat it up when the little lighter wasn't working.

I also wouldn't have tried to smoke more only 10 minutes later from a bong because I wasted the first bit (even though I hardly inhaled; it never turned into vapor with the little lighter!). But I had little clue about tolerance and wanted to blast off.

But most things are a learning process and we tend to get better over time, fortunately.

I should have tested my Machine before smoalking it. I made it wrong, and couldn't vape almost any of it.

That's really all. Smile

I would have vaped it, instead of smoking it in a metal pipe as instructed. I only had enough for one hit, but it was by far one of the most magical experiences I ever had, I would say it was like seeing God, and when God left, the golden magic slowly dissipated with His/Her disappearance, as my closed eyelids became black. I only today received my hand vaporizer in the mail, I am anxious to try vaporizing dmt for the first time, also scared because it has been well over a month since my last hit.
