When people say they are using 1:1 changa, is it go be assumed that they are using say ex. 100 mg dmt and 100mg 10x caapi or 100mg plain leadlf or pure harmalas?

Nothing? I'd hoped to be able to get some clarity on the subject. Trying not to get physically sick from Haramala alkaloid OD or anything. Potentially dangerous stuff.

Im not sure about caapi but harmaline is about 2x stronger then harmine. I dont separate the two harmalas and use the pure harmalas freebase (not an extract) in 1:1 ratio.

Improper oral administration/diet is where the issue seems to be, not so much changa.

If i am correct, I believe that the ratio can stand for different values depending on the person blending the changa. 1:1 can stand for ratio between harmala and the molecule. It can stand for the ratio between the molecules present and the leaf. I guess it all depends on the individual.

I think I prefer enhanced leaf over changa. So, if I were to say a 1:1 ratio, I would be referring to the amount of molecule to the amount of leaf. When in doubt, ask the person who is claiming a 1:1 ratio what that ratio involves.
Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

Correct me if I'm wrong but changa is 1:1:10 meaning 1 dmt , 1g harmala , 10 g leaf and
enhanced leaf is simple 1:1 1g leaf , 1g dmt !! Mind you a lot of ppl will only use 1 g dmt , 1 g leaf , 250mg FB harmala ! Hope this helps ! Thumbs up

I made some enhanced leaf with mint and really enjoy it but I'm trying to figure out how to extend the experience using caapi leaves. I've never used an maoi before and have been trying to get some info on caapi leaf extracts but there isn't anything too meaningful out there. People talk about 10x as a good standard but how much do people usually smoke and how long does the smoked mao inhibition last typically. Kind of surprised Erowid doesn't have more on the subject. I just don't want to accidentally hurt myself (physically or emotionally) using this stuff. Thanks for the replies.

You should familiarize yourself with the "maoi diet" if you havent already done so. Medications of all sorts, yeast, bread, beer etc. can all be dangerous. I just do a miny detox and dont worry to much about it. Its unlikely you would hurt yourself just by smoking it, however i detox beforehand and take no medications.

Extending the experience sometimes works sometimes not so much. 40mg Harmala HCl (oral) 30-60 mins beforhand. Then changa with the freebase. Sometime it last 2x even 3x longer.

It definitely adds something to the experience but doesn't always extend it.

I'm thinking about trying a 1:1 with 100mg dmt and 100mg of 5x caapi leaf extract on mint leaves. Like put 6 grams of caapi leaf in ISO and then strain out the caapi and put the infused ISO on some mint. Some people say plain caapi leaf is good and some say 10x, so the idea is to go for the middle ground and hope I don't get completely destroyed by it.

Caapi extract will make the whole experience a bit more subtle.
Personally I'm not a fan of Caapi extract.
You might be better off just enhancing passion flower, it makes the experience stronger and gives it longevity.

I always heard 1:1 changa was 1gram DMT to 1 gram harmalas added to 1 gram leaf. AAnd when I first started researching how to make it it seemed it was the consensus that this is how it should.be done if you want harmalas added to make actual changa.

However now I see people use varying amounts of harmalas in there blends. I made my first blend 1 g DMT and 1 g harnalas from caapi vine. I've yet to try it. But I hear people say that harmala heavy blends like this are too dark for them. Other say its more grounded and spiritual.

I guess it differs for everyone. I'll report back when I try it out. Was hoping my new changa piece would land so I could give it a rip.

Patience as I'm sure it will be worth it.

I also have. Bunch of 10x caapi leaf I'll probably smoke before changa. Further saturate my system with harmalas before launch.

By the way does anyone know what I good sublingual dose of harmalas is before vaping? I know I've seen it here but can't recall which thread.
That moment when you wonder if this time you went too far....

Obviously everything discussed here is the fictional accounts of someone with an out there imagination. I mean really could any of these tales be real?

What's up with Passion Flower? Can I just use passion flower tea as my base? And how much would do you personally use?

According to wiki Passiflora contains a number of MAO inhibitors including Harmaline. Im not sure about how much its all depended on so many factors. Drinking should have some effect i would imagine.

I just received my order for Passiflora, Pau D'Arco, Mullein, Mugwort, Letus. I'll be tring each for the first time sometime soon.

Passionflower has harmalas as well but in much lesser quantities.

Roughly speaking 250g = 50g Caapi = 3g rue.

Although I really like Harmala effects for DMT, I don't see the point in changa.

Harmalas by itself are very nice and grounding high. It's much easier to administer Harmalas separately from DMT, get in the right Harmala headspace and then blast-off. This also allows for wider variety of Harmala administration routes. I might drink 5g or syrian rue tea, eat 300mg crude rue / caapi extract, or smoke a pinch of the same extract on top of some inactive herbs/tobacco.

Oral harmalas are entirely on another level compared to smoked by the way, when it comes to DMT. I'd highly recommend it. Also syrian rue is dirt cheap and easily available.

If I was you I would take 600mg Passion Flower and evaporate 500mg of Medicinal Spice onto it.
Then roll joints with 150mg enhanced leaf.. Add mullein to beef out the joint.
I don't like passion flower personally . Its too strong and gives me a slight head ache.
It lengthens the experience like nothing els ive come across.
Happy journeysRolling eyes
