Well I am going to simply start out.by saying one of the most prosperous weeks of my life just ended in what im calling a catastrophe. I pull my 4th pull out of my 200g batch..got about 350mg. Looking nice..now time to do the re x on the 3 last pulls as described in previous thread. And perform a 5th pull. Well tonite I go to do.the.re x and 5th pull. Heated a near boiling bath for 30mls naptha bath. Put 2.1 gs in , and added naptha. ( My phone is on flashlight mode setting on top of a cup outside for my light...idk y the heck I was doing it outside. Probably ganja related.) So the.naptha begins to warm as I stir the xtals and slowly they dissolve away leaving the undesirables. Decanted into a smaller crystallization dish. It was a state of supersaturation. When the naptha was cooling from the warm bath xtals were xfalling out lol...thats how much was in there. I turn to set down stirrer and my phone falls and knocks off the last 4 days of my lifes work right off the effin table. I could not believe what I had just done. I didnt move for like 2 mins after this. Almost wept outloud. Never nostalgic, just a lil depressed. Bright side of things...it was a great learning experience and I got 1350 grams. I have 1150 left.. It will never happen again, simply put. Im glad I learned to let crap like that go and see the good in it, even if it is very...very...hard..

Well, then I deserve the 2010 award when I dropped my whole supply, a few grams of purified DMT on the floor, on a carpet... managed to recover part of it, but that was one of the most stupid moments of my life

Lmao. Yea that award goes to u bro. I couldnt recover mine due to it being dissolved in solvent, haha. Soaked all into the ground.

the 2012 award goes for me, when i was running in the metro because i was late, my bagpack zippe just decided to open, and my glass flask with all my changa (the best ive ever had) just breaks and all the goodies get sucked by the ventilation sistem.

ive tought about getting a flame thrower, and make everyone in the metro go to hiperspace, but i was just late....

Awh man I don't know I've made a few really stupid mistakes myself. My most recent was heating up my hot water bath too hot and allowing the basified solution to reach the boiling point and I lost all my spice before even doing a pull

Doh! Every mishap just makes you more experienced and wiser, it's the things that go wrong which really make us grow eh?

Oy. Decided to eat mescaline shortly after setting a basified solution in a hot water bath. I forgot about the jar in the bath and found it the next morning.... all the water had evaporated and the jar had busted, getting base soup all over the place. yay.

Lol base soup never a good thing. Im glad to know im not the only one who has made some mistakes lmao

I poured what would have been about 15g of Harmala Alks down the sink after spending the whole weekend extracting it.(crying smiley)

That was last year, I should get a "Your a muppet" award..

My worst mishap so far was during my first extraction. I was warming up the soup in a double boiler in a mason jar with the lid lightly resting on top. The jar got a bit too hot and sure enough, the lid sucked down to the top of the jar and pressurized. KABOOM... boiling hot acacia soup all over the stove, floor, and my (now purple) jeans. Took an hour of cleaning up the kitchen with vinegar trying to neutralize the mess.

Second mishap was last night, pulling saturated nap out into my measuring cup. Got done with the pull, and instead of transferring it into the larger holding cup, I pour it right back into the extraction bottle. Felt I had to facepalm myself, HARD.

I was agitating a mason jar containing the basified soup (ph 12.4) of 50g MHRB with some naphtha and i decided to get creative with the agitation. I started flipping the jar around, twirling it in the air, tossing it behind my back, flipping it fowards, backwards, diagonally (you get the picture). I was being a friggin moron with it! The first time i flipped it behind my back it worked out fine and looked pretty cool. It was like I was a chef at a hibachi restaurant doing that trick where he flips the knives behind his back, bangs them on the table, and then proceeds to chop up some jumbo shrimp. Welp.... It didn't end well! The next time i flipped it in the air I didn't catch it when I was doing the 3rd pull and the bark-nps soup crashed on the hard stone floor, contaminating everything within a 1 meter radius. TO this day I still cannot remove the stains on my floor left by this stupid accident (I managed to obtain 500mg of spice from the 2 previous pulls, so not all was lost)!

Please don't do what I did. PLease do not get creative with your agitations and start flipping your extraction vessel around like a baton. It will never end well.
