Hopefully you understand, but i know you can relate in some way. I do read the post and this place seems to be just my type of people . I really want to plan a trip and for all the right reasons. Im not doing it for the trend. Im no junkie.

So i hope all the enlightened people in the nexus can help me out.

These are some cliche noob questions so please link me if they been answered.

Best plant to extract ? Easiest.. Mhrb, ect. ??
Best tek for it? As in easy obtainable materials. Simple procedures.
Can i use a meth pipe? (Easy to obtain)

As for the "cliche noob questions", all of the answers you seek can be easily accessed by browsing through old threads and using the search function in the top-right corner of the forum. We here at the Nexus really try to encourage people to "do their homework", so to speak, and research the basics for themselves. There is a wealth of information on this site, and I am certain that you will be able to answer all of your questions and then some!

So you don`t have any experience with psychedelics or other mind altering substances? Why specifically DMT, and smoked, if I may ask?

I'll give you my opinion though.

1. Use MHRB
2. CYBS salt tek
3. No meth pipes. Either buy a gvg if you want to get the most out of your spice. Or make the machine. Its simple uses a single.shot glad Hennessey bottle and copper scrubber.

As k said u can search for more info but this is what I did when I first got started with this and its worked fooils. Although I see a lot of people.posting pure white fluff from utilizing acrb.


I should add I don't recommend tek do to it being easier or anything like that. IMO there all fairly simple if you can follow instructions. What's important is that you understand.what your doing while following a tek. Read all the teks in the wiki and once you decide which you'll use read it at least 3 times before starting anything.

Understand what each step is doing and what purpose it serves so you get the process and if trouble pops up you know what's happening. Cybs max ion tek has a section in which he explains what each step does and why its necessary. Reading it a few times helped me to truly understand the process. So no when I extract I'm not blindly following instructions , instead I know why each part is necessary and what is happening during each step.

I may try ACRB on my next eclxtract bu I dunno . the high nmt content has me hesitant as well as the oils

I believe as do others. That spice rewards patience, intent, and courage. Don't just rush into it. Take time to understand the process and learn. Have a pure intent and don't succumb to fear and your journey will be rewarded as a result.

If you want the easiest tek, I would start with an STB (Straight to Base) tek. The other teks, A/B (Acid/Base) & hybrids, require more steps, involving heat and extra time to complete. I find heat generally pulls more impurities over into the spice, which then require more steps to purify. I started with STB, came to this website, played around with cyb's salt tek (ATB hybrid) for a couple batches, and just went back to STB and I have to say that this last STB batch was better than all the others. It was simpler, easier, required less time, and less material as well, with a great yield of beautiful crystal.

I always thought that STB tek would give me more impurities, and A/B would be better, but it seems to be the other way around, for me (unless you put extra time and effort into purifying the impurities you extracted with the heat, but why do that when you can just avoid pulling them to begin with?)

But, there is a lot to learn and read on the forum OTHER than just how to extract dmt.

I currently use a "meth pipe" (It's not a meth pipe unless you personally have used it to smoke meth, otherwise it is just an oil burner / glass stem) and it is not bad, BUT it is easy to burn the material and sometimes a pain to clean. I will be getting a GVG (Glass Vapor Genie) when I have money for one. Haven't tried to make a machine, although I hear they work well. I have also smoked off of foil, which I would not recommend, per se, but it will work if it's all you have. If foil is all I have, I would probably wait until I could get my hands on something else, but it does work.

I agree with Al-Wasi, learn the theory behind the tek. Then you will not need to follow a tek anymore.
