One of the most TRADEMARK things about hyperspace:

for some reason Swim notices her hands look like they're freezing cold. Like she just rinsed her hands with freezing cold water for 5 minutes type cold hands appearance..

What makes this thought puzzling, is that it happens before any spice has even been inhaled. It's almost as if her body is already 'aware'..... and she notices this very 'cold pattern' all over her hands WHICH, BY THE WAY, other non tripping people can distinctively and visually see as well.

Has anyone noticed this besides SWIM? It's kind of freaky how other people, some of whom have never taken a psychedelic in their lives, can respond "Yeah, your hands do look like that. All cold and blotchy."

I guess what makes SWIM wonder about this phenomenon is because when smoked in lower than breakthrough amounts, that same pattern she has on her hands before she hits, is the root of the same pattern of visuals she sees directly after vaporizing it.

Making sense at all????? Please help!!

It could just be nervousness.. considering her body knows before the trip starts what the experience is like, ergo nervous tension.. either that or not enough circulation is getting to her hands I would think. Do they return to normal once baseline is reached?

My brother has this and it's a certain kind of disease involving low circulation known as raynauds syndrome. Blotchy, purple, cold hands are prevalent with this disease.

I don't understand the whole visual phenomena. It's possible after looking at your hands patterns you theoretically could visualize or see the pattern after vaping.

My hands turn this very strange looking white-ish/purple, they almost look bloated and alien-esque. Then, I always see this shadow being duck behind whatever is convenient from my peripheral. The shadow will duck behind a curtain, or a door, anything that is in my immediate surroundings.

It has never happened pre-spice intake, usually after the first hit, if a breakthrough is going to happen the hands are the first tell tale sign like you said.

Im glad you brought this up because I honestly never thought to post about it due to my thinking it was definitely just a ME thing.
