Normally, I would write this in appropriate section of this forum, but it doesn't even deserve to be there.

Just an hour ago, I smoked my first dose of DMT ever. And, I didn't get anything of it.

To clarify, I measured out 30mg of DMT. I thought to start with lower dose for my first time. I loaded it up in the machine, and lit up. However, nothing happened. Or to be precise, almost nothing.

I saw some very thin smoke, and I took it in. It was barely enough for two small tokes.

Now, about the visuals, there's nothing much to be said. They were hypnagogic at best. With my eyes closed, I saw some purple spinning flowers with dense, thin petals,and then few triangles. Occasionally, some eyes would show up, starring at me. Visuals were 2D (that's how I perceived them). That's it.

For open eye visuals: almost nothing. Enhanced perception of depth, my ceiling had turquoise hue to it (it is white in "real" world), and that's it.

Something obviously didn't work as it should have. I'm sure that 30 mg must be able to produce trips way more intense than what I've experienced. Maybe my machine is bad? Maybe I burned and destroyed the spice? I doubt that spice is bad, guy who gave it to me has been making spice for years.

30mg is a pretty solid dose. Was the hit you took harsh, as in did it burn your throat? The smoke produced by burnt DMT is incredibly harsh. You would know if you burned it.

My guess would be that most of that magic remains un-vaporized in the metal mesh of your Machine.

This would be my guess too. What kind of lighter did you use?

The smoke was relatively harsh. Not that it was worst smoke in the world, but it was harsh. Afterwards, I've checked the metal mesh, all that was left was some brown residue. That's all.

Now, I'm thinking to myself, even if it was nothing like DMT journey should be, it was interesting. What was interesting were those eyes. I've seen them before, sometimes when I close my eyes, and try to sleep...they are there. Now it seems that they were there to observe my DMT trip too. They don't seem evil, nor they seem good. They seem more like neutral observers.

was the powder you smoked brownish in color like the residue? Are you sure you vaped everything properly? 30mg should produce a lot more than a thin stream of vapor. So either what you got is not dmt, contaminated/cut dmt or your vaping technique needs improvement.

Always best to extract yourself if possible.

No, the spice wasn't brown. It was yellowish. And I can pretty much confidently rule out the contamination factor, because I trust the guy. He gave it to me as a gift, and he's using the very same spice that he gave to me. I was there when he selected out .5 g from one small pile, and gave it to me.

Now, Occam's razor is in favor of me improperly vaping it, I think.

Tomorrow, I'm gonna make "The Key V2". If that doesn't work either, I'll just wait for my GVG.

I'll update this thread after I try vaping from "The Key", and try to vape it more carefully. Gods of The Hyperspace, please be with me.

I've found the reason. My mesh was simply to big, and heat from the lighter just couldn't reach the spice properly. Silly me.

I've fixed it, and now I'm about to try once again.
