Hi. I recently finished a chemistry degree, but my real passion and motivation in life has always been ontology, exploring the mysteries of the universe, both inner and outer, but mainly inner because I feel thats where its at. Before I ever tried a psychedelic, I felt I had a strong connection to them and that despite the common consensus of them, they are something truly benign if approached wisely. I prefer to call them entheogens now, because when used with the intention of cultivating altruism, transcending the ego, and unifying with God, then generation of God within is exactly what entheogens provide me.

I'm not just here to learn, I think I can contribute a lot to this forum as I have had many profoundly, unusual experiences that have revealed to me various mechanisms behind how our perception of reality works, in order words I've gathered various unusual pieces of the puzzle over the year and would like to share my pieces of the puzzle with fellow psychedelic warriors/ontologists, and also would like for my psychonautic brethren to share their pieces of the puzzle with me, like that we can all work on the puzzle together and who knows, maybe a big picture will begin to emerge.

Also I'm well versed in chemistry and pharmacology so I can contribute knowledge in that area. Being a fellow psychonaut, I also view these sciences from outside the box and come up with some unusual theories. One theory I've been pondering is that every chemical has its own unique resonance frequency (thats not a theory, thats an established fact) and that certain substances, due to their particular resonant frequency connect us with things beyond our perception which happen to be connected in some way to this resonant frequency. Thats an interesting new model, and its compatible with the mainstream pharmacological model but can explain many things that the current mainstream one can't. Tryptamines, due to the indole ring will have their own characteristic resonance frequency, so if this theory has any validity, then its interesting to wonder what else is resonating at that frequency range. I wanted to make a proper thread for this theory, but I can't post yet.

I'm not big into philosophising and theorising on things I can't test empirically though (although this particular one we can experiment with), so I won't be wasting peoples time with theories and philosophy, my main intention for joining is to exchange knowledge. Afterall, this is the entheogenic university (excellent name btw, and the intro page is absolutely mind blowing, it gives sober people a taste of whats outside the box).

Since I can post here, I'll post a thread I wanted to make earlier but couldn't. For anyone who hasn't heard of Pablo Amaringo, he is an Amazonian ayahuasca shaman with photographic memory, and fairly good drawing skills. He paints his ayahuasca visions. Some of them are mundane, some of them are mind blowing, but the ones that really fascinate me are the ones that feature elements that clearly do not come from Amazonian culture, they look more like things from Jewish religion or Hindu beliefs. I don't know if Amaringo visited the world before he had these particular visions, it'd be interesting to find that out because if he didn't have access to other cultures, then its as if he picked up information about the spiritual practices of other world cultures with his visions. I've observed plenty of unexplainable things both on and off substances, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if this is some kind of divination that enabled him to envision these things. So here are some of his paintings (I'll try post the not so Amazonian ones first):

^^ This is the one that really fascinates me. Looks pretty Judeochristian to me. More Jewish. The checkered floors, the hexagrams, the angels... I'd love to know if Amaringo was exposed to European spiritual beliefs before he had that vision. If not, thats some trippy stuff.

Most of his visions are fascinating though, heres some more:

^^ Those checkered floors, its like old Jewish architecture.

I had his book but I lost it, there are way more interesting visions than the ones I posted there. Some of them involving people boarding what look like spacecrafts, Buddhist monks meditating and of course the usual mind blowingly, intricate, out of this world things DMT tends to reveal. If you have money to invest thats a book I'd recommend getting. The main book I recommend to people though is DNA: The Cosmic Serpent, it was probably after reading that that I find Amaringos paintings so fascinating.
