Title pretty much says it all. Can't find much information about it, apart from this article. I'm thinking I may just stick 50-60 (because apparently they don't germinate super well) of them in a pot and spray with water every day or so. Anyone have any experience with this?

Never growing them, but you could try to treat the seeds like cannabis seeds:

Scuff them and put them in a zip lock bag like this:

Thanks for the links. Yesterday I did start trying to germinate some with the wet paper towel in a bag method, but if nothing comes out of that in a few days I'll try scuffing some and doing it again. That article says soaking the seeds in alcohol increased germination rates, so maybe I'll try that as well.

Interesting. This plant is of the Celastraceae, the family which also contains Catha edulis although the alkaloid profile is surely very different, judging by the properties mentioned on wikipedia.

Memory enhancing neuroprotectant sounds good to me.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

The seeds I tried to germinate with the wet paper towel method have gotten moldy and none of them germinated. I got them for like 4 bucks and they're not as crunchy as the ones I was getting a couple years ago so I think they might be old. I've spoken to another supplier who has assured me that their seeds are fresh harvested(still shipped from India though), however the supplier is still unsure as to whether the seeds are viable (silly when you're selling seeds but I suppose they are mostly meant for eating).

If there is anyone who has any experience/success with this plant I'd be really glad to hear what you have to offer. I'm hoping to help out a friend who is worried because old people style bad brain stuff runs in her family and I would love a long term renewable source of fresh seeds.
