Wanted to add, my friends and i have jokingly called it "dream dust" and some others that i cant recall atm. I just like the sound of dimethyltryptamine. "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

I just call it the Molecule, but always capitalized. (and considering people have died smoking that spice crap they sell as synthetic weed, we should distance ourselves from "spice"  Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. I like the term "spice" probably because of the Dune connection which seems quite fitting and I don't think that synthetic weed around here so I don't have that association at all.

Typically, I don't call it anything...I just say 'I'm gonna 'smoke'', or, 'do you wanna smoke?' But, the key is to accompany it with a distinct eyebrow lift.

Yeah I just hate it because of that cheap pot product. I'm really into the Dune series, so I think that its actually a pretty cool name in that regard. I mean the Navigators consume spice in order to bend space, and its the universe's most prized possession. Seriously Frank Herbert. I think everyone should start calling DMT Melange.

The Dimitri nickname is simply used in order to give DMT a nickname that is commonly used for people. Drugs are given "people" names all the time. Dimitri sort of sounds like DMT; it has the same letters. You can't spell Dimitri without DMT! It's no different from how Mary Jane is a nickname for marijuana, Lucy for LSD, salvia is sometimes called Sally, Addy for Adderall, etc. Also, The Molly nickname for ecstasy never made sense to me. Maybe it's because of the MDMA name... but still, Molly? POADS is gone!

Makes sense. Molly is quite..inconclusive AFAIK. It is used for other empathogens as well, considering street 'Molly' could actually be anything from RC or non-psychoactive rip offs. 'What's going to happen?' 'Something wonderful.'
