Hey how's everyone doing?

Me not so well as of late, but that is about to change! I've gone through some pretty rough times recently, lost my two closest friends, my best friends for a good fifteen years none the less, they both decided to throw our friendships away for reason I can not even fathom, but I will not get into that.

I'm in need of a good jump start to my spirituality, self esteem and for the love of everything around me.

So I've decided to plan my first Ayahuasca journey in a very spiritual sense. I'm going on a backpacking trip (leaving this friday), alone with my dog and my spirit guide, a little grasshopper I just so happened to stumble upon in my room on sunday and found it was just meant to be. Found him in my room the day before, he happened to crawl up my leg and freak me out, (I thought he may have been a spider), while an associate of mine was over. We took some pictures hung out with him for awhile and my so called associate let him go, over the side of my deck. The next night, I found him in my room crawling up my leg again. I know he is the same little guy, because he is the only grasshopper I have seen all summer, in fact I have only ever seen one other grasshopper around in the entire time I have lived in this same house. So in turn I decided to keep him and take him with me on my journey, I truly feel he's been sent to me, to guide me through this experience. I know Jiminy Cricket was a Cricket, but I named this little guy after him and am convinced he is to be my conscious on and through this journey.

I've done extensive research on how to brew, I will be using THP method. I will brew up 3 doses of Caapi and 2 of Chakruna. One dose of Caapi is to get acquainted with the spirit of Ayahuasca the night before my first journey. One pair of Caapi and Chakruna, will be to dip my toes in the water in a sense and the last pair of the strength and light, will to dive deep into my conscious with a large dose and to purge all my negative energy and demons out on the third night.

I've done research on MAOI diet as well, but would love some extra help, considering I'll be out in the thickest forestry area I could find on a map in my location. I know that I'm looking for foods with little to no tyramine content and have also read that this diet only need to be followed 24 hours before and after, however with me, it'll be atleast 120 hours before I can eat normal food. So far what I've come up with is potatoes, bread, oats, beans, lentils, rice, eggs(free range from my own backyard), fresh non citrus fruit and fresh vegetables, both which I fear will be too ripe to eat later into my backpacking trek. I will also be bringing a fishing pole to catch trout and eat them fresh. There will also be plenty of salmon berries in the area I will be in, would these be okay to eat?

As you can see it isn't the most robust diet for a week long backpacking trip, but I do not wish to get a pain splitting head ache when I have to hike back out from deep in a thick brush filled forest, any and all suggestions for my diet would be greatly appreciated.

Same with good vibes and energy sent my way, I will definitely be posting about my experience when I return. I am going into this with nothing but good thoughts and hopes, leaving any and all resentments for anyone or anything behind. I will be doing deep self reflection and meditation on the few days prior to my first drink. I wish to rebuild my inner self from my toes all the way to the strands of hair on my head.

My only wish for this experience is for Ayahuasca to help me find what it is I am looking for and to be completely honest, I have haven't any idea what that is yet.

Sounds like a good journey. Just be sure you aren't bothered by the recent negativity you have experienced. But if you feel positive and ready then you're good to go! Doing it in the forest should be great assuming you enjoy being outside and there won't be people around.

Nothing but positive thoughts and energy going into this! I have had a lot of bad energy and negativity in my life recently, but I am letting it all go and wash off of me. I even got myself an amethyst, a smokey quartz and a kyanite Stone wrapped up and around my neck to help bring positive energy in and block out the bad. I definitely have already felt a change. I've even got a large amount of Palo Santo to burn while I dream. Very happy

I do very much love the outdoors and I am going as far away from away from civilization as I can get so no people at all, just animals! Thumbs up
