Hello Nexus, I'm Cypheriax

I'm not sure if I've properly hit the window for the weekend influx of new members, but I figure I'll post anyhow.

I'm a 19 year old college student living on the west coast of the United States, and for some time these past few months I've been ravenously tearing apart every bit of information I can about entheogens of every kind. I've lurked this forum for about a week or so at this point, and have imbibed the majority of the adjoining DMT-wiki as well as much of the information on Erowid surrounding Fungus, Cacti, K, LSx compounds and the most enticing of them all Dimethyltryptamine.

To preface, my experience with the substances in question are what could be described as limited. I've smoked my fair share of the devil's cabbage and after about a year of moderate to heavy use I'm pretty much done with the stuff for the time being, and a single mushroom trip at a Tool concert a few months ago that was super-dee-duper.

I feel that got the whole shebang on that one, but with it being my first experience with the substance my mind drifted toward revelations that I'm sure with greater reflection could have been positive changes in my life. However, being more entranced by Maynard and his siren songs I found whatever lessons learned in the wiggle room between my conscious and unconscious mind were well diluted. The music rocked me back and forth and enveloped me, I lost myself in the immersion of the experience. After I got back to the hotel with my friend we played a game of psyched out of our mind chess and talked about the universe and our lives until the wee hours of the night. It's seldom that I feel so complete.

Right now I'm in a position where fulfilling my dreams of becoming a psychonaut and tryptonaut are not yet ready to come to fruition. I live with my parents and my freedom to grow a terrarium of Cubensis or Hostilis and extract their psychic goodness is practically zilch. All that said, despite having a wealth of knowledge at my disposal like these sites I personally feel that I'm not emotionally nor even mentally prepared for what these alkaloids can offer me. Even if I had the agency to partake I believe that this moment in time isn't right for it. Maybe two or five or even ten years down the road I'll be able to take what I know these chemicals can throw at me. That said I'm close to the precipice of true preparation for taking the plunge into the hyperspace that has been flooding my dreams lately and I can hear my pineal gland drawing me to this wonderful spice.

I hope to spend my time here learning from you all and gathering the resources I need to change my world, and hopefully by proxy the world of those around me with every iota of knowledge these substances can offer me.

Welcome to the site. Judging from the very little that you've posted so far, you're more ready for hyperspace than you think you are. But nobody is ever really ready. Good for you for choosing to take things slowly, I wish I had been as wise when I was starting out. You're going to have a good time with entheogens once you get started. What you learn and experience will absolutely astound you. And growing your own mushrooms and extracting your own DMT is extremely rewarding, trust me I know. You've got a good head on your shoulders, continue to be smart and don't waste it. The Nexus will be here to help you when you decide to take the next step. Best of luck.

I can't thank you enough for the vote of confidence, Poads, and some day I would like to validate it. Oddly enough I'm approaching that point in life that many people hit where they're living with their family and they suddenly realize that even though they may love their family, they don't fucking like their family and I can't enter the psychotropic world with that kind of negativity in my life, I have to start fresh and pure. In addition my physical regimen has been lacking and I think that once I'm in an independent, healthy position in life I will begin my journey to mastering the spirit molecule.

I will spend my time here on the site mentally preparing myself for this experience, as what has been described in hyperspace is nothing short of my greatest lust. I yearn to know what lies on the other side, and what I can bring back with me.

If you feel like it, I'd love to know the tales of the first entity you contacted and your most rewarding or profound DMT experience.

Hahahahaha. That's a good one. Let's just say my first experience with DMT was pretty shaky at best. I'm not a good example to follow. That's why I said I wish I had been wiser when I was starting out. It may interest you to know that I was exactly your age (19) when I extracted DMT and tried it for the first time. That was only 2 years ago. However one thing you will come to learn if you go far enough is that time is a mere human creation, and it is utterly meaningless. The concept of infinity is what I consider to be a fundamental aspect of DMT.

That's not to say I haven't had some positive experiences too. Some good spice from MHRB can blast you off through the veil and into hyperspace before you even realize it. I've encountered some fantastic entities who have shown me amazing things. They seem to be highly intelligent in nature. I really like the term "machine elf". They aren't like Christmas elves, but they are other-worldly, and they will take you to incredible laboratories. You can often interact and communicate with these entities.

One thing I find interesting is that you say "mastering the spirit molecule". I don't think anyone really "masters" DMT. Rather, you come to terms with it. You integrate the experiences into your own existence. At least that's the way I see it.

Anyway, I suggest hanging around the Nexus for awhile, learning what you can. Then when you're ready get some MHRB and follow a proven extraction tek without cutting any corners. I gotta say it's a breath of fresh air to see someone who's not in a rush (like I was), and who is actually willing to learn a little before taking the leap. I'm sure you will do great.
