why are we just figuring out now a knowledge that has been around since the rise of ancient egypt. the meaning behind this "experimental theory" dwells in a portion of the secret doctrines of hermes trismegistus, known as the hermetic teachings.
this specific scientific approach could have just be based on both the principle of polarity and correspondence, the last one popularly known by the alchemical axiom "as above, so below; as below, so above".
it is in a balanced mixture of the teachings on dualism, applied by the means of correspondence, that we manage to see the same thinking structure used in this experience.

as stated in the kybalion, "this principle [correspondence] gives one the means to solving many a dark paradox (...) enables man to reason intelligently from the know into the unknown"
and the substantial part of the principle of polarity "it explains that in everything there are two poles, or opposite aspects, and that opposites are really only the two extremes of the same thing" so by understanding the meaning behind these principles one can intelligently reason and most of all, as seen in practice below, construct a steady route too uncover and demystify old embedded cultural paradigms. it is practical in all fields of study as it takes place in the mind and can be translated into solid work. a true weapon against todays crisis of consciousness that came to be thousands of years ago in the esoteric teachings of old egypt.. Wut?

Quote:
what if the best way to change minds isn’t to tell people why they’re wrong, but to tell them why they’re right? Scientists tried this recently and discovered that agreeing with people can be a surprisingly powerful way to shake up strongly held beliefs.

Researchers found that showing people extreme versions of ideas that confirmed — not contradicted — their opinions on a deeply divisive issue actually caused them to reconsider their stance and become more receptive to other points of view. The scientists attribute this to the fact that the new information caused people to see their views as irrational or absurd, according to a study published Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

"..undisturbed by order, chaos creates balance. it is not the artifical balance of scales and weights, but the lively, ever-changing balance of a wild and beautiful dance. it is wonderful; it is magickal. it is beyond any definition, and every attempt to describe it can only be a metaphor that never comes near to its true beauty or erotic energy."

Yes!

I just watched this video.

Quote:
The Invisible Science is a documentary that explores the lost magic and mentality of the ancients. Revealing the world beyond the veil, the Egyptians were not superstitious savages, but had high wisdom and accomplishment in symbolism, mysticism, occultism and esotericism allowing access to previously invisible and unimaginable realms of consciousness, understanding and ability.

Synchronicity?!

One of my favorites:

"As within, so without".

Perhaps this addresses the relativity of infamous questions such as:

"Are entities part of us or separate?"

"Is this experience real or not?"

"Is this good or bad?"

Forget the ancient world I would say. They did not treat their fellow human beings in a very respectful, loving or caring manner.

You want to be listened to, to be heard?

You know you are an adult who more likely than not has been to hell and back at least once. . .? You know you deserve to be addressed with respect, and not be addressed as a child or an animal? AND you want to improve things a bit, maybe step off the Wheel for a moment?

How about you treat and address those who are different from you, different ethnicity, religion, gender, ways of loving, whatever, address them with the same respect that you know YOU deserve?

Sound novel? Well, in practice it is. You ever address a homeless man as Sir? No? Give it a try I say. It is what the Christians call The Golden Rule. Almost everyone says they practice it when in fact almost no do. Myself included, of course.

So, give it a try and brace yourself. There will be a number who do not care, nor will they listen. But I promise it will not take long to get a rather extreme response, such as the homeless gentleman referenced above, crying.

Never forget when hate and even worse, ignorance feels like the easy path, that every single person out there, be they like you or not, has the same depth of thoughts, feelings, loves, concerns as you do. Never forget this, and I will bet that your path in life will not only be smoother, but that you will be directly working to create a better future for all of humanity.

Yep, we are all one thing, . . . and that is human.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2

^^^ This.. our present actions and behavior towards ourselves and those around us. Past and future are past and future, they are to be learned from and prepared for, both of which must be done here now. How we act here now is key.

Great topic guys. Interesting stuff. Good to remember that all the esoteric knowledge from all the ancient worlds in the universe means little if we cannot be kind to our brothers and sisters.
