any order of discussion, I'm pulling this from my introduction essay and posting it on its own thread. These are writing based on my experience with dimethyltryptamine, and how it altered my views on everything...
...You know that feeling; the happy anxiety one gets in their chest when they're excited about something. Except this feeling wasn't local to just my chest. It completely engulfed my entire body, from the top of my head to the base of my feet...

"PICK UP THE PHONE" said a subconscious voice.

Two seconds later, the bodily vibrations abruptly ended and my phone rang.

.........

I'll explain a bit about myself before I continue.

Up until this new chapter in my book, I had lived my entire life "clean". I was never against the use of marijuana or other psychedelics, but I never had any interest in trying it myself. I only drank on occasion, and I don't smoke tobacco (although I do enjoy a pipe or cigar on occasion).

About a year and a half ago I had this strange but welcomed feeling in my body. As I said earlier, I equate it to the happy anxious feeling/butterflies one gets when they're excited. Except this wasn't just in my chest; it took over my entire body.

Upon getting this feeling, something told me to pick up my phone and say 'yes.' Seconds later my phone rang and it was my friend. He said he got an urge to call me about this new thing he just got his hands on: DMT. He was well aware that I had never even touched a marijuana leaf before, but he still felt compelled to offer me a toke of his new treasure.

The next day we met up to go on a journey--and it felt more like a pilgrimage of discovery.

I spent the earlier part of that day researching DMT--I read some stuff on Erowid and DMT Nexus & watched The Spirit Molecule. I went into this completely relaxed and prepared. Ironically I have been successfully practicing lucid dreaming for the better part of 10 years, so I had already been well versed in the aspects of OOB, Shakras & energy flow.

One thing I did prepare for was the duration. From what I gathered from Erowid, my friends own testimony and The Spirit Molecule, is that an average "trip" lasts anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes with the method we smoked (sandwiching 60mg between some herb over a weed pipe[bowl]).

My trip was different than anything I read about.

My friend had already witnessed several trips prior, and had smoked himself multiple times. What he described to me he said was like nothing he'd seen before.

Three hours, two seizures, some weird "snake talk" later and I was still not back to reality. The seizures were not bad--they were actually amazing. To preface, I suffered lower back pain for years prior. But when I came back to "reality" my back pains were completely gone!

My friend said when he asked if I was alright, I replied "he cannot be interrupted yet." He also said I was whispering some strange mumble words that sounded similar to the "snake people" from Harry Potter--I've never seen any of the movies though(still to this date) He also said I kept saying something that sounds like "malick" or "mah'leck", and "nezmina" (phonetically). He said I did not close my eyes for three hours, and had this glazed-over look of extreme happiness the entire time.

After I finally "came back to reality" we stepped outside of the car. I had no idea what time it was, or how long I had been "out." To me, an eternity of a life-death cycle tore me out of reality. But I did eventually come back. We went for a walk and my friend told me I kept coming in and out--I would suddenly stop mid walk, my eyes would open as big as possible, I'd look up, and I would again whisper in third person. He said I kept talking about the power of our minds, the cycle of consciousness and universal truth.

As my mind grew more aware, I kept trying to fight my conscious reality, wanting to stay in that place. My friend said I said something along the lines "this is just the beginning, you have to leave us now but you will know when to come back. You aren't prepared yet. You will know, but now you have to leave"

Suddenly though, I snapped out of it just like a hypnotic spell in the movies. I was 100% back to normal (so I thought). When I got back home and got into bed, I fell asleep almost before my head hit the pillow. But when I woke up the next morning, there was a legal pad and two pages of notes lying next to my head (see the attached picture). You wont be able to really read whats on it, but I'd love to explain it if there is any interest.

I don't remember writing anything, but I remember everything that was written. I did however see the word Malik written on the bottom, and I remembered my friend telling me about that. I typed it into google, and I found the linked...check out the Divine section; that has A LOT to do with what was written on the paper.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malik

I am a designer, and as such I am inherently visual by nature. These spirits must have known this, and showed me exactly what I needed to hear and see, in exactly a way I could understand it just as easily as explain it.

Going into the threshold, I was greeted by my deceased grandmother--or a figure that felt like her spirit. I was brought into what felt like an ethereal "waiting room". There were other spirits there--what I would assume to be other psychonauts.

This waiting room was essentially a holding area prior to going into a job interview. It was explained to me that every mortally born potentially divine being goes through this interview process. While I "sat" in the waiting room, I was soothed by the warmth of my grandmother. The colors and lights (in an energy sense) that came from her kept me calm, even after sitting for an eternity in the black void of 'space'.

Eventually though, I was called into my 'meeting'. As Im sucked into a vortex of colors and clouds and lights and sounds, I am injected with truly original thoughts that I had never seen or heard before. It felt like someone was physically placing information into my skull with a plunger!

This is when I blank out. From this moment til the next morning, I don't have any recollection of my actual experience. But when I woke up the next morning to see that legal pad, everything suddenly clicked!

The Quesadilla Theory:

Still a work in progress. Looks more like melted wax than cheese, but it will represent my vision better when complete.

Let's say you're craving a fresh homemade cheese quesadilla. For this explanation Im going to exclude the tortillas, as they are not pertinent to the story. Otherwise, you will need a few things to get started. The following elements all represent one of two things: Physical reality or Consciousness:

- A cheese grater
- A plate to collect the cheese
- You, to grate the cheese
- The block of cheese itself

Let's say that physical reality is represented solely by the plate. Any cheese that is on the plate is in the real of the real, or what we see/hear/smell/touch in our day-to-day fleshly lives. Everything else--the cheese, the grater, your arms holding the grater, the air around the cheese as you grate--is part of the non visual spiritual realm.

Flesh)You begin grating the cheese onto the plate. Slowly but surely the cheese starts piling up in a "pyramid" shape. The cheese that hits the plate represents our consciousness as it leaves the spirit realm and lives in the physical world as living creatures.

Free) The more you grate the cheese, the taller the pile gets. Eventually some of the cheese may roll off the plate and fall onto the table. This cheese that falls onto the table represents Christ-like figures throughout history. They are touched by a divine element, and are host to manifestations that the mortal world calls "miracles".

- Jesus Christ
- Horus
- Buddha
- Attis of Phrygia
- Krishna
- Odysseus
etc...

Teachers)Some of the cheese you grate may end up stuck between realms, dangling half on the plate and half off the plate. The cheese that sits in both realms represent figures that are meant to act as mediums between the realms. They take the teachings of the divine Free and translate it into a language that the Flesh can understand. We'll talk more about this later.

- The Twelve Apostles
- Disciples of Jesus
- Prophets of Islam
- Hindu Rishis
etc...

As you're grating the cheese, you (the universe) may decide to grab a handful of cheese as a snack. You reach down and pluck an arbitrary size of grated cheese & put it into your mouth. The act of picking up the cheese represents events in physical history in which mass amounts of living creatures are taken back at one time.

- Vesuvius
- Atlantis
- A war in history
- 9/11
- Oklahoma City Bombing
- London Bombing
etc...

The act of putting the cheese in your mouth represents the moment in which the spirit leaves the physical realm and re-enters the spiritual realm, beginning the journey of rebirth. Upon reentry to the non-flesh realm, you could return as Flesh, Free or Teacher. I have not been told if there is any method to how these are chosen, but Im hoping I will be told eventually.

Coming back to the Teacher, and more-so religion. Think of worldly religion as any version of flavored coffee:

- French Vanilla
- Italian
- Cinnamon
- Dark Roast
- Decaf
etc...

Each flavor is a different religion: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism. Before the coffee is crafted into their different flavors, they all start as the same single source bean. The bean the body and spirit of the Free. As the free passes it's knowledge onto the Teachers, some information may be lost. The Teachers are after all still half Flesh.

As the Teachers take the knowledge of the Free and pass it onto the Flesh, the divine truth is broken down over time and splits into different sects (religions), further separating itself from the ultimate truth. All flavors (religions) are false, and all religions (flavors) are true. Some however are closer to the truth than others. It is easy to say that Dark Roast is closer to the original source coffee bean than French Vanilla, just as it is easy to say that some religions are closer to the ultimate truth than others.

This is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to what came to me in my first experience. I've yet to have a breakthrough quite as astounding as the first, but I believe I am preparing myself for my second interview.

There's no point in cleaning, because the cycle does not end Wink

...you were taught, no doubt about that. my only advice at this point - as/if things start getting weird, stay grounded, stay centered, remember your core, your soul, that's you, nothing external can affect the internal, unless we allow it.. and I thought that this:

was hilarious. I am interested in more of what was written on your paper. So this was written during your sleep, potentially aided by your successful lucid dreaming experiments? That is pretty interesting. I find your story interesting, and completely believe it based on the way it was written, and have come up with similar (albeit less tasty) analogies of our current state of affairs. Explain to me, if you can, some other things that were written on the paper, or if it doesn't make "sense", at least try to explain the "sense" it makes your body feel. Smile
What is language?

That's a very interesting experience that you've had temeculove420 and I loved your explanation of it. Let's hope you are shown more so that you can expand on this theory. Wish you all the best mate. Very happy
