Greetings everyone,

I've never been very good at bridging the gap between my keyboard and my mind, at least not as fully as I'd like to but here goes. I've spent most of my life ignorant of the benefits that entheogens can offer humanity. It wasn't until I went to Burning Man a few years ago that my eyes opened up to the possibilities. Some good and some not so good experiences later, I've decided to only use homemade medicine from now on. Ya just never know what you're getting nowadays, even from people you trust (they often times were lied to also). Now I'm getting pretty well invested into growing cacti and learning about other entheogens as well.

That led me here, and after having read innumerable posts on here and learning much along the way I now would like to contribute to the shared knowledge in this community. The reasons why I want to join are:

1. I really liked the post about why you shouldn't sell DMT. Part of the Burning Man culture is the phenomenon of gifting, so this really spoke to me. I have never paid for or sold any drugs. It just seems like the nexus cares more about the continued experience and enlightenment of humanity, as opposed to pure profit.

2. The nexus seems to be full of mature, positive minded people and the entrance process reflects that. I prefer communities of mature adults that have beneficial conversations and debates. Unfortunately, some communities allow trolls and attention seekers to prosper, to the detriment of constructive conversation.

3. I'd like to learn more. A lot more. I have many, many questions. I also have my own experiences and knowledge to share in kind.
