If you rip too hard there's a chance of you pulling your DMT through the copper mesh or other kind of layers. That's what happened to a friend of mine when he was using his GVG with copper mesh.

When buying copper mesh you should pay attention to buy ribbon style copper instead of round wires.

Also where is "here" that you cannot buy ceramic discs?

Belgium, i find them easily outside of Europe, but in Europe i can't find them, unless i can make them myself maybe.

I tried it with copper mesh, i put two layers of copper wire on top of each other and top it off with DMT which i melted in before smoking it, i seem to get it all in, yet not all at once.Even though i tried everything now, hard tokes, more heat, slow tokes, less heat, it makes no difference.

I tried a small dose, the effects where more or less the same, no breakthrough, just a smooth very relaxing colorful lightshow of slowly moving patterns, it's not that i don't like that, i LOVE it, but i'm ready to go on now.Or so i believe.

When i use my lavender beds i can launch at least 3 times from that same loaded VG before everything is vaporized, so i'm definitely not getting everything out that i've put in there.

I usually take 4 to 5 tokes, i hold it in as long as i can, +- 20 seconds before proceeding, it always starts with a body high, then faint visuals, then eventually my hands become really fat and i get an alien like feeling, everything becomes pixelated and morphs, then i take one or two more tokes before closing my eyes.The environment is usually similar to my previous launches.No crystalline palaces, entities, or impossible geometry.

The only times i came close to breaking through is with the sandwich method, but it must work with my VG as well.

I think when i switch to a torch lighter i'll be able to vaporize more effectively and will be able to go deeper.I think the importance of a good lighter is crucial in my case.
I'm clueless why it works for other people with a regular Bic and not for me though.

I've read that DMT gives you what you need, not what you want, so that might be my answer, although, the sandwich method would work if i wasn't so damn afraid of burning my DMT again, but i never want to experience the pain of a scorched throat again.

I also have this question, I will use a torch lighter and VaporGenie sherlock, I have to heat the copper mesh before putting dmt and the mixture? Heat it too much or too little?

Depending on how loose the mesh is, it’s possible for some fine powder to fall right through. Heating the mesh first seems to lessen this possibility.
Only very gentle heat is needed to melt the DMT into the mesh.

I find its much easier to load the FB on top of the mesh/ceramic then with the ceramic top in place use a bic lighter very lightly to melt it all in. (inhaling like your hitting it)

Then I use a torch for vaporization. It works perfect everytime with no loss as far as can tell.

How do you do this? I imagine it would be a lot of the liquid to evaporate if you were cleaning the entire insides of the GVG. Do you let it soak in a shallow dish?

You don't need much solvent at all, especially if you use acetone. Just swirl the minimal amount of solvent through the GVG and pour it out to evap.

Quite a higher basic price than 109$, but adding 45$ for USA --> EU, plus import EU taxes, then the Holland shop might still be good choice, and less hassle for guarantee issues I suppose.
